Our family - parents and two teens - spent Saturday night at the hotel. We arrived early Saturday planning to leave our bags but lucked into a room. On of the lower floors but nice corner room. Had a small kitchenette, with kitchen supplies which would be great if you'd like to stay longer. The beds were very comfortable and...

This hotel would deserve a 3.5 if half points were available. Nothing outstanding and no big turn off. Location is the key, close to Time Square and Penn Station (walking distance which is why I chose it). The only issue is 3 lifts only for a 40-story hotel so permanent long wait to go up or down (one of the...

Stayed for a night this time for business and arrived quite late in new york. Still a good hotel with great location near times square and nice beds and rooms. The service is still good although I forgot to state my spg membership and was not recognized as such. Breakfast was as good as before but since I had to...

3 mins to port authority bus terminal - very convenient for us! The standard room is big enough for two, and the bed is super comfortable. We were on 14th fl, so we didn't have a good view. But that's okay, because the rooftop was accessible til 12 midnight. The elevators are small, but we didn't mind that either. Breakfast...

Thought this hotel was great. Im a travel agent and sell this all the time for being a great valued and well located hotel so thought i had better check it out! I wasn't disappointed. We were two couples and given 2 interconnecting rooms without asking for it. We were upgraded to a corner king. It did make a difference,...

My husband and I and 20 yr old daughter and her friend spent this past weekend in New York at the Element. The reviews said the elevators were the biggest complaint. We didn't feel it was an issue although we did take the stairs on our way down from the 7th floor waiting to go up was not a big...

Just returned from an amazing trip to New York for my 21st and cannot recommend this hotel enough. On arrival we were upgraded to the 40th floor with 2 double beds and the most amazing view thanks to Ivory on reception. The rooms are well-equipted with dishwasher, microwave, sink, fridge and two hobs if you decide you want to make...

Wonderful location. Super rooms. Helpful staff. We had no problems with the elevators during our 4 night stay, longest wait once 3 minutes! Fabulous breakfast. All round an amazing place, not forgetting the views from the rooftop area. Comfiest bed ever!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
