The rooms are newly renovated and quite nice with small kitchenettes. Staff was pleasant although not particularity helpful. We are fairly loyal to Starwood properties, having been Platinum for years. So we thought we would stay here, great location and reasonably priced. The real problem is the elevators. It was a nightmare getting up and down. And the staff close...

Dear Mccardinalphoto, Thank you for your continued loyalty to the Starwood family. We're happy to hear you enjoyed your guest room and our central location. We are aware of the challenges with the elevators. We are an extremely busy Times Square hotel and during peak hours, there is a short wait for elevators. For future stays, please reach out to...

We stayed for 4 nights, being my first NYC experience I can only say that this hotel really played a big part in how briallaint the weekend was. The location was perfect, 5 mins from tines square, a small walk from the subway and bus terminal and a nice view of Western Midtown / the Hudson from the top floor....

Stayed here for 3 nights for the Easter long weekend. Overall it was a really nice hotel in a very convenient location. It's located a block away from the 42nd St station (A-C-E trains) for those who are willing to take the subway system. These trains all head to Lower Manhattan (E train will bring you to the World Trade...

The hotel is in an optimal position close to times square (2 minutes by foot). We stayed for honeymoon and suggest for any kind of travel. The position is optimal also to reach by foot a lot of great restaurants. Breakfast is great, choice of sandwiches, lot of fruit. The brakfast room could be a little crowded but the room...

Stayed here for Easter 2014. A very handy location and a very clean hotel. Every room has a small kitchen area which is useful whether eating in or not. The bathroom was roomy and new, with a very large shower and plenty of space. Breakfast time gets very congested due to the lack of space and amount of people given...

Good hotel, good gym. Tasty breakfast. And an exelent location. Had a kichenette at my room. Clean and taken care of. Nice view out of room. The roof has a terras where you get a nice overview of New York City. It was a new experience waiting for the elevators, but might be normal in such high buildings.

Element is a relatively new hotel with nice rooms. We had a room on 31st floor with a great view to the Empire States Building. WiFi and Breakfast are included, the room had even a small kitchen with fridge and microwave. Although the breakfast room was very crowded you can take the breakfast just to your room. Had a room on the 36th with a king bed. Above most of the road noise. Had its own kitchenette and full sized fridge. Hard to fault. The only small nit I had was their elevators. They skipped my floor more than they didn't and each day it literally took 10 min to get downstairs.

This is a great hotel. This is our fourth trip to NYC and this hotel has everything you need for a great stay. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
