I have such mixed feeling about this hotel stay! Would I come back again? Probably not. Especially considering the number of hotels available in NYC, and the PREMIUM price we paid for this ‘average’ hotel and its services… I booked this hotel exactly one year in advance, planning to celebrate my 30th birthday on NYE 2016/2017. I was very specific...

I have been staying here since it opened and it's the only place I will stay in NYC. The entire staff remembers me and the room I love staying in, they remember the food and drink I always order! I realize NYC is huge but this staff is incredible and amazing, how many people that take care you in NYC...

I stayed here with a friend for 2 nights and enjoyed my stay. Check-in was definitely unlike anything else I've experienced, but not in a negative way. We had a room facing the New York Public Library, which made for lots of fun people watching. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Elevators were a little slow, but nothing ridiculous....

We stayed here for five nights over the New Year period having previously stayed at Andaz hotels; The lobby area was dark and we were aware of what the check in process would be like, didn't have any issue with this and gladly accepted a glass of wine after a long journey from Dublin, Ireland. The first nice surprise was...

We stayed here 3 nights between Christmas and NYE for 25,000 Hyatt points per night (same amount for a standard room at Hyatt Union Sq or Times Sq). By NYC standards, the room was very spacious and the bathroom was huge. This is my 3rd stay at an Andaz property in the past year and I'm getting the sense that...

Very relaxing luxury, full service hotel. Nicely appointed rooms, comfortable furniture. Great bedding, full wet bar with microwave, large refrigerator and - no kidding - a dishwasher! Fantastic, full room height windows provide wonderful panoramas of NYC skyline (from upper floors). Prime location directly across from the main NYC Public Library.

We would've appreciated a guardrobe in our room or at least a drawer. Moreover ad the furnishings are all glass-made, we would advice a more frequent room cleaning as the dust is much more visible on glass. Beside these things we've appreciated a lot the room's huge spaces and it's huge shower! And the Staff was so kind and friendly!

I stayed here for three nights.. absolutely beautiful. The staff were great. There is a bar in the basement, and the room was fantastic. I'll book a room here next trip to NYC. Best location you can see the Empire State Building from the hotel, and it's a 6min walk to Time Square

We had the pleasure of staying with yourselves during the period 22/12/2016 to 27/12/2016 but I feel I have to make a formal complaint about the service that you provided for an airport taxi transfer between JFK airport to the hotel. We were quoted via a telephone call to yourselves a cost of $160 for the transfer cost for a...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
