We spent a long weekend in NYC and decided to stay at Chambers, it was a terrific choice! We had friends staying at the St. Regis, a block away, so it was convenient for us to be located here. We walked to Fifth Ave stores and enjoyed looking at the windows in their Christmas finery. The location was perfect, the...

I've stayed at many hotels in NY, and if I had my choice, this would be it every time (over the Mandarin Oriental). If you're touristing, the location is central. The rooms are big for NY, a rare gem. The bedding is comfy, the bathrooms are spacious. The staff are attentive and remember you. Momofuku downstairs - win. The design...

This is a relatively small hotel by NY standards, however it is not cheap and some of the service expectations from a hotel charging nearly 700$ per night were not really met. The rooms are strong on design, but weak on practicality - nowhere to hang an outdoor coat after walking in the rain, as one simple example. The restaurant...

Dear lesjon, Many thanks on your kind words. We are, on your suggestion, installing external jacket hooks such that one need not place a damp coat in the armoire. Too, please know you are welcome to enjoy all the fine tasty menu of Má Pêche on our quiet and peaceful mezzanine. In all events, we do hope you will return...

Location - On 56th near the corner of 5th. Great for shopping and for running in Central Park! Easy to get uptown and downtown. Room - The room size was decent by New York standards. I got allergies from the dust though. The bathroom was also pretty small with little space to put my bathroom kit. It had a rain...

Was in NYC to perform at Carnegie Hall as well as a small family reunion. The atmosphere created by the extraordinarily friendly staff set the tone for a memorable stay. We booked 3 rooms for our family, and our location requests were met, with one of our party receiving an upgrade! The hotel is warm, quiet, and inviting and the...

My mom reserved rooms here for a family trip to NYC. The Chambers is located on 56th, between 5th and 6th Avenues. 56th is a fairly quiet, one-way street. Upon arrival, we found out that we'd been upgraded to a king deluxe room. Nice start. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, immediately offering me water. Though the hotel is...

We stayed at Chambers Hotel between the 11th and 18th October, 2013. As an architect, I appreciated the stylish interior design. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
