The Harlem Bed & Breakfast is as good as the website promises (and that's a compliment!). Clean, comfortable beds, large and nicely decorated rooms and quality breakfast. It has a very homely atmosphere, I like it. Scott is really into delivering good service, and it works. He didn't mind printing our boarding passes, for instance. It's easy to reach too:... More

We stayed at the Harlem B&B after becoming stranded in NYC due to the volcanic ash cloud. It was a struggle to find somewhere to stay in Manhattan at such short notice, but Scott managed to squeeze us in and couldn't have been more accommodating. Our room was spacious, clean and very homely. We had free wifi and were provided... More

It was just like having our own little apartment . You would be crazy not to stay here if there is availability. The neighborhood is great and the people are friendly. A 5 minute walk to the subway station and from there, the city is yours to discover. A great breakfast of superb pastries was a great way to start... More

We spent four nights at Harlem B&B and our stay would not have been perfect if it wasn't for Scott and his hospitality. Our room which had a BIG private bathroom, a couch, a table with two chairs, a closet and a great bed was clean and we even got new fresh towels every morning. Scott provides breakfast which includes... More

Stuck in Newark during the ash-cloud fiasco, we decided to make the best of our time there and try to see New York. As we were on a budget, we chose this Bed and Breakfast, based primarily on the glowing reviews. We weren't disappointed. From the moment we rang to enquire about availability, Scott went above and beyond the call... More

Our room was very clean and nicely decorated as shown in their photos, a little small, but with the bonus of a small "kitchenette" that was a bargain for the price. One of my worries had been "sharing" a bathroom down the hall, but in a 1 week stay we only had to wait one time for less than 15... More

I stayed here for nine days. I had no complaints at all. The room was cleaned daily, fresh linen and towels replaced regularly and the owner and staff were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this great little gem of a B& B to anyone. This was my first time to New York and the subway was only a... More

This B&B is uptown, a 5-10min walk from the top of Central Park. The premises is immaculate. The breakfast area is compact, but with coffee and pastries to die for (not to mention the complimentary doggie bags of extra pastries to take out on your travels). Given the price of my room (42 euros a night), this exceeded expectations. The... More

We stayed at the garden apartment and it was beautiful, clean, everything new and very confortable. The breakfast was amazing, a great variety of muffins, juice, coffes, breads, etc. (The bad thing was that it was served at 9, so we couldn´t leave before that time if we wanted breakfast, and in nyc you leave early to see it all).... I spent 10 days in NY. The accomodation was very nice, comfortable and clean with a small kitchen, microwave and fridge. I had a big room with private bathroom, nicely decorated with flowers. What was marvellous, were the breakfasts. Fresh croissants, baguettes, muffins, cheese, tea, coffee, juices etc. Drinks are available for free for the whole day. The spirit of... More
