This place honestly has so many perks. First, the rooms are great - not huge but the full kitchen (full fridge, dishwasher, microwave, stove top burners, coffee pot, kitchen ware) is so awesome! The bathroom was standard. The hotel's location is perfect for anyone seeing Broadway shows. We saw 4 in 4 days and being able to walk to all of them in under 15 minutes was a huge plus! It is one block away from the subway and bus stations so easy to get nearly anywhere. The hotel has free breakfast daily which included eggs, meats (bacon, ham, sausage that rotates daily), breads (french toast, pancakes that rotate), toaster items, whole fruit, cut fruit, cereal station, cottage cheese, coffee, hot chocolate. The items did occasionally run out if you eat in the basement. The main level breakfast seemed to remain full located next to the kitchen. Jesus, the kind man working the breakfast in the basement deserves a raise. He was there with a smile every day working non-stop. The second perk is the manager's reception monday, tuesdays and wednesdays. This includes serve yourself beer and wine as well as salad bar and a rotating hot item (meatballs, fajitas, gyros, chicken etc). You basically can have two of your meals here with no additional cost - a huge savings in new york. We were unable to get an early checkin which was disappointing but the worst was the elevators. There are three elevators to service over 30 (I think) floors. They are tiny. They fill quickly. They stop on every floor. When everyone is trying to go to breakfast or checkout at the same time you may wait over 20 minutes to find an elevator you fit in. People trying to go down started to jump on elevators going up because that was the only way to fit. If you are on floors 10 or below - take the stairs. Or, request to be on a low floor. We were on floor 16 and took the stairs 75% of the time due to irritation with the elevator wait. If you are on a high floor, good luck.…
We spent one week in New York with my wife and my daughter (1 yo) in this hotel. Pros: - Convenient position (10 minutes walking to Time Square, 3 minutes from metro) - Clean: the room was decently polite - Breakfast: only continental but copious, we never go out for breakfast - Staff: very warm and nice - Confrontable and quiet - Big room with great kitchen, we use it to prepare the baby’s food Cons: - Elavators, only two. During peak hours (08.30-10:00) we had to wait till 45minutes to catch the elevators from our floor (12th). Very Frustrating since we have to carry 3 big luggage + baby + stroller. I strongly recommend to avoid these hours…
This hotel has very nice breakfast, it is central, rooms are very clean. I think one of the best in New York. Elevator queue is a little bit problem in the morning time but still it is the best in New York
We stopped here for three nights when visiting New York. The location is very good being central and close to Times Square. Walking distance to the Empire State Building and a number of other attractions. The room was spacious and clean and equipped with a small kitchenette. The staff were friendly and helpful. you can walk to Penn Station from the hotel in about 10 - 15 minutes. A good standard hotel, nice buffet style breakfast, everything worked in the room.…
Staff members at the desk,(especially Peunde and Deliah) those helping with bags (especially Jaime) and those helping with breakfast (especially the woman who takes care of cleaning and attending to the front lounge area) are all EXTREMELY attentive, friendly and competent. The hotel is clean and contains a kitchenette (fridge, microwave and stovetop) in every room. Breakfast contains more variety of both hot and cold items than I have seen at any hotel where I have stayed. Cut fruit is fresh and plentiful daily, with many more choices safe for gluten free individuals. Free luggage storage at arrival before check in and after check out until leaving the city is a GREAT perk. A lightbulb went out in our room during our stay. The front desk was extremely pleasant and sent a maintenance engineer within minutes to fix it! GREAT SERVICE with GREAT PEOPLE all the way around. I will always stay at this hotel when in the city!…
