I am sitting here haven't showered for 3 nights. Why? As the front desk would tell you, "Things happen...". No hot water for 3 days! And it is late October! Seriously? Oh! By the way, this is not the first time when there is no hot water. Realistically speaking, probably the fourth time. Well, this is not the only thing.... More

For the hot water problem we never had any problems with hot water in the last 10 years , this is the first time we have had an issue with the boiler , of course no on anticipates these issues and most people understand this can take some time to repair , we notified everyone and posted that our associate... First the PROBLEM and then the rest: I paid in advance (with fees for cleaning and all) around $1.900 dolars for 1 month. I also had to pay in advance $1.600 for the security deposit fee. They were supposed to return this a few days after my departing.... it did not happen that way. After a week I started calling....... More

I've stayed here a few times with groups of people. It's a great property. But be forewarned, that it is a 'hostel', so there is dorm style rooming with shared hallway bathrooms, so know that in advance. But if you are okay with that, you can't bet the price to stay in NYC. Actually, it looks like from some of... More

We opted for a private room which was like a budget hotel - luckily this was exactly what we were looking for - you couldnt ask for more for the price, lots of helpful staff to recommend activites for NYC virgins - we would definatley stay here again - SO close to central park and the subway!

Unless you have no other choice, I would recommend staying somewhere else. The bathrooms are horrible, the area noisy, and quite honestly rough. The staff are okay, the beds are okay. The bars on the window don't fill you with confidence. Overall, it's actually okay, but I would avoid staying here again.

The place is one block from Central Park and Subway station (B,C) . The most part of rooms have , tv , small kitchen with a small fridge and internet. The staff are... More

This is not a hostel anymore, but a great place to rent a room for long terms (30 days or more). They re-did everything last year, and the studio apts are as news! I really enjoyed the 4 months I stayed there: the room were great, the staff working there is more than very nice and were very helpful to... More

Definitely the worst place you'll stay in while visiting New York or any city for that matter. I walked in to a disgusting studio I uploaded photos of the state I found it... More

Had to stay here one night when some other plans fell through about a year ago. These people are scammers. They told me one price over the phone and then raised it when I got there. The clerk tried to ask for a big tip after he grabbed my bag up the stairs without asking. Just pay for a cheap... More
