I travelled to New York for the first time and stayed as a solo traveller at this hotel. Although, I also had family staying here, that makes no difference to my review. What a superb place. The location is great. The staff are superb. The hotel has such an authentic atmosphere.

Couldn't be happier with my recent visit to The New Yorker. Everyone on staff went above and beyond to make my trip a memorable one. Jessica at the front desk was quick to recognize my Windham Rewards status and get me to my room even earlier than promised. My room was clean,

The hotel is very beautiful, clean looks newly renovated. The staff both front desk and the security were very friendly and cordial. Our room was a king size bed. my only dislike was how small the rooms were.

For the last few years, we have been staying at the New Yorker every time we visit Manhattan. It has great value and comfortable accommodations in a convenient location (Pen Station and multiple subway lines nearby).

We just got home from The New Yorker on Sunday 10th and we arrived at Newark - we thought it was the best airport as you actually fly over the city so when getting closer to land and landing you can see the skyscrapers. Around a 25-30 minute airport shuttle ride to the hotel with no traffic. We pre booked our shuttle buses and I think cake to around £160-£170 area.

Yes. This appears to be as normal as a coffee machine in American hotel rooms. I’d suggest that if you ever find yourselves without either of these in USA, then ask at reception and they would almost certainly supply.

Hi, if you are travelling to Penn Station, it couldn't be easier. If you come out of the right exit, the hotel is diagonally opposite. 3/4 mins walk depending on whether you have to wait for the traffic lights. Hope this helps.

"All floors quiet. View is nice but after a day out in New York I doubt you’ll have much time to sit people gazing."
"The higher rooms will have less street noise."
"Get a view room, some rooms are very dark as they look into the other rooms across a small divide."
"Ask for City View"
"Decent room. View of McDonald's. "
