My husband and I had stayed at the Milburn several times previously when we traveled from the West Coast to NYC. We stayed there again in June, arriving very late at night. We were very tired and fell into bed, just turning down the covers enough to get in. In the morning we pulled the bedspread down all the way...

mlburnhotel, Owner at The Milburn Hotel, responded to this review

The hotel owner did try to reach the guest and left a message on the cell phone. When the husband responded, he repeated the complaint and demanded "compensation". He was told that competent personnel reviewed his assertions and found a terrible odor the next morning, and saw the condition of the sheet, which could only have been due to "an...

Our recent 5 night stay at the Milburn was the icing on the cake of our visit to NY. I can't say enough about this hotel. It is on a quiet tree lined street, but just a very short distance to restaurants, shops, the subway, Central Park and Riverside Park. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff were...

this hotel is fairly centrally located in Manhatton at 75th street. The rooms are very big for NY and they serve breakfast for free which is very unusual for NY. The staff are very helpful and there is free internet and a library, The prices are very seasonal . The only drawback is that there are only views of a...

Good find for a family of six in New York. Location near 72nd subway was just one stop from Times Square which was fantastic. The room was a good size with room for all six between the bedroom and living room although the kitchen was tiny! It did however have coffee making facilities and a fridge which was useful. Check...

We were in a suite on the 4th floor (407) and the room was practically silent. No sound from the street or from above or below (no side neighbors in that room). The King bed was extremely comfortable. Our 6'4'' son got the hide a bed (which they made up for us that evening while we were out- very nice)...

We stayed for 10 nights at the Milburn for our first trip to New York. A Superior suite on the 12th floor. It was very clean, the staff was always friendly and helpful, and the location was outstanding. You can walk to Central Park and the Natural History Museum, as well as Lincoln Center and Columbus Circle. The 72nd street...

Staff was very helpful. Great Place to relax away from crush of people in times square. A couple blocks away from from subway and...

The Milburn Hotel totally met our needs for a comfortable, convenient, clean hotel. The hotel is not a modern hotel but has all the benefits of a modern hotel--remodeled bathrooms, nice size room, great breakfasts, lovely fireplace in the lobby, and very helpful staff. The hotel was located near the bus and subway lines and less than a block from...

We stayed at the Milburn Hotel for 6 nights and the location is wonderful. Staff was friendly, rooms were larger than I expected and also very outdated which I was prepared for. We had friends staying at Hotel Beacon which is lovely and right around the corner. Either of these hotels you can not go wrong. Tips for laundry; go...
