We loved the Ace Hotel. Cool, interesting rooms. Great location (don't stay in Times Square; that's fake NYC). The service staff is amazing (which is way too rare inn NYC). Check out their calendar before you arrive so you can experience their events too.

Ace hotel really impressed us for this trip. we stayed here for two nights. great location to subway station and some sightseeing spots. walkable to Madison square park, flatiron building, empire states building...so on. love spending time at the lobby even though just sitting there:) love this kind of hipster style hotel.

I travel to NYC every January for the NRF convention at Javitts. Not many choices in/near/around the Convention Center for hotels. First time visiting the Ace this year, have to say it was a very fun, cool hotel. From the main open lobby with plush leather couches to The Breslin bar and Stumptown Coffee onsite, it's actually a lobby you...

I was a little surprised by the retro decor when I first arrived because I hadn't done much research about the hotel, but once I got used to all the distressed surfaces and started to notice the nice touches like brass fittings on the tub...it became a super fun experience! The staff was great, the hotel was within walking distance...

We stayed here for a few days over Christmas, you walk in to the lobby and it's very vibey and cool, if a little dark, even on Christmas Day it was busy with locals. Initially I was a bit disappointed with the bedroom, it was a bit studenty and the bathroom was tiny but actually on reflection it had everything...

Hi AmsterdamCookie - Thanks for taking the time to give us such awesome feedback. I'm glad that the room grew on you after your initial disappointment. I'll make sure to forward your comments about our lobby staff to the appropriate parties - I hope the good service you received at John Dory made up for lack of it in the...

Ace NYC was the best choice for our honeymoon. The staffs were so apologetic when the room was not ready, then they decided to upgrade our room and serviced us a bottle of wine to celebrate it with us. You cannot expect a huge room or bath in Manhattan. But our room was clean, bed was comfy and shower had...

Pretty good bar as far as hotels go. Always a good time here and one of the few hotel bars I'd recommend. It's a nice mix of out of Towners visiting the city and residents grabbing a drink for a random night out.

Modern, hip and stylish the Ace Hotel New York is a perfect combination of comfort and ambience at an ace location in the big apple. There's all sorts of shops, restaurants, and landmarks walking distance and a few subway stations a minute walk away. Opening Ceremony store at ground floor makes it even a better catch!

I think you are paying for a hip lobby and not a quality room when you pick this hotel. I mistakenly booked the bunk room which felt like a jail cell- for $150 this was a huge mistake! Also, when I arrived after a long days work all I wanted to do was lay down watch snl and relax- it...

Hi Sheila - Thank you for your honest feedback. I very much appreciate you taking the time out of your day to let us know how everything went. It sounds like the room category itself wasn't suitable to your needs. I'm sorry to hear about the TV issue - I will look into it myself as the wait time you...
