This particular Hampton inn was a perfect stay in NYC. My boyfriend and I were there for 5 days. The location was the best. Walk right out and you're in Herald Square close to a lot of shopping. Literally, just Steps from the hotel is a subway station with most if not all trains. I used an app called Embark...

Room small, but the norm for the city. Good clean room, ample closet. The breakfast was far superior to other Hampton's. We had eggs and French toast as well as meat (sausage) daily. Normally it's just hot waffles. The bagels were pretty good, not frozen ones. Tea/Coffee available all day. It's directly next door to the Hilton Garden Inn, which...

Great location, literally down the street from Macy's and a subway stop. 5 minute walk to the Empire State building. Not much street noise on the 18th floor, usual idiots slamming doors at 1am but not the hotel's fault. Smallest rooms we've stayed in NYC, the bed takes up 3/4 of the space, 1807 looked at the building next door...

A very outstanding hotel and chain. Friendly staff who knows the area. Very helpful and provided wonderful service. A great place to stay for business or just visiting for a long or short trip. Near everything NYC has to offer.

We always stay in this hotel & we have decided long time back to always stay here. It has the best location for almost everything. Shopping, wasting, transport etc, etc. It is just few blocks away from the Rahman Mosque on the 29 th street. This is the best thing for us. There is an Indian restaurant over the mosque...

The hotel desk service staff were outstanding. As a Hilton Honors Silver member they have you covered. Free bottled water given, without asking. This property has the "digital key" feature, so you don't need a card. Real slick. The morning breakfast was complete and wholesome. Staff made sure that all items were replenished quickly. Parking was also just around the...

It is easy to walk into the Hampton Inn or Garden Inn next door, they look alike. But Hampton is 20 stories versus 31 .Hampton rooms have coffee maker, no frig or microwave in basic room.No bar in the lobby.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
