Large room with separate seating/gathering area. Very clean. Bathroom setup is a little unusual in that there is not real door. The door to the toilet is glass, and does not allow for much privacy, other than that, it was a great hotel for us. The staff was very friendly and professional. They went out of their way to be...

It's a pretty cool hotel with a visage of Andy Warhol in the outdoor pool. A Japanese restaurant and for me a great location. A lot of immigrants originally settled in this area that borders China town so lots of great places to eat ... The mini bar was amazing .... Included is a hangover cure & phone charger +...

Perfect everything! First the room beautiful well done lighting and a balcony and the location!! Right in middle of the restaurant and late night music scene with a good Gym and super Japanese and breakfast!! Better than Hotel Indigo and right across the street!! CVS nearby and great food all over with multiple music stages nightly right next door!! The...

The hotel was great and very well located but the acoustic isolation was not good, we could hear everything from our neigbours bedrooms. I didn't test the spa, swimming pool and rooftop but it seems great too! I recommend the hotel.

I booked this for my best friend for the night before and night of her wedding. We had the bachelorette party at the salt water pool which was super fun. The food and drinks were good. In the heart of the LES, so easy to get around the city to all of the hot spots. The roof had a grea...

We opted for a King Suite at this lovely hip establishment. It was my birthday weekend and I wanted to try something new! Big Mistake. The room description mentions a deep soaking tub which had me sold! No mention that it "may have a tub". Upon arrival we were greeted by the valet who offered to find our vehicle and...

I stayed for one night while in NYC. I got a suite as I booked far in advance and they had deals. I arrived shortly after 6 pm on a balmy Sunday evening. The lobby is small but contemporary. The front desk clerk tells me that my room isn't ready yet and to have a seat, she'll give me the...

Great hotel with amazing rooms! We had a terrace suite which was awesome! I almost upgraded to the penthouse 1 floor suite but it was slightly out of my price point. I would have done it in a second for a special occasion! Sushi downstairs is quite good and the atmosphere is amazing! Highly recommended!

The hotel is in convenient location especially for me as my work place was on 2nd street. The room is very small but have a great view(I had a corner room). Staying in Lower East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Lower East Side
Straddling the bridge between New York’s thriving immigrant past and its modern transformation into a beacon of global art and culture, the Lower East Side is one of the most dynamic neighbourhoods in the city. The blocks of tenements that represented the promise and blight of the Lower East Side immigrant experience now command top dollar for new residents. Right next to old-world delis, 24-hour bodegas, and the garment shops of Orchard Street, you’ll find hip clubs, fashionable bistros, and luxury hotels beckoning at all hours of the evening. If you love nightlife and live music, it’s hard to beat the scene here.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
At the epicenter of downtown Manhattan's vibrant New Renaissance in cuisine, galleries, live music clubs, and nightlife spots, the fun-defining SIXTY LES evokes the youthful spirit of its all-hours neighborhood-an indie-vibed district on display from nearly every Jim Walrod-curated suite's floor-to-ceiling windows. Andy Warhol's visage looks up from the scene-and-be-seen swimming pool's bottom, while gritty images by iconic photographer Lee Friedlander illuminate bedroom headboards. Step out into the street life and walk directly into the world-recognized New Museum or countless gastronaut destination spots. But guests need go no further than the vibrant award-winning Blue Ribbon Sushi Izakaya tavern and bar for Japanese cuisine and stellar cocktails, courtesy of foodie deities the Bromberg brothers. SIXTY LES is part of SIXTY Hotels, a new, innovative of luxury inns located in New York, Los Angeles, and debuting in Miami soon-ish. ... more   less
