This was my first time staying at the Warwick, and I found this to be among the best locations in NYC -- just around the block from the Museum of Modern Art, blocks from Rockefeller Center and Central Park, and a short walk to the theater district. The hotel's staff were friendly, rooms nice and larger than many in such...

Wonderful visit to the Warwick. Jahmal at the front desk was great as was Carlos who brought our luggage to the room. Very clean rooms. The bar Randolphs was a nice place every evening for a drink and appetizers. Looking forward to returning soon!

Given all of the mediocre reviews of many Midtown hotels, we weren't expecting much. However at our first arrival, we began to feel that things were quite different for the better. Receiving staff was immediately helping us with valet parking and baggage, well dressed and friendly. The lobby was busy but efficient and elegant. Our room was beautiful and every...

Let me start out by saying the staff are very pleasant and helpful. I was required to stay there for a business trip and the hotel is not for the business traveler in my opinion, i.e. no amenities like complimentary coffee or water. The rooms are fine and comfortable, but there is not much more I can say about this...

The hotel was up to expectations. Rooms slightly larger than usual in New York. Breakfast was exellent quality but expensive. Staff attitude could be improved at reception as well as concierge. Otherwise overall a nice hotel to stay when in New York!z

Horrible service. Had to round up our own chairs for empty table from other areas. Long wait to place order. Had to track down and hand credit card to waiter for payment after leaving card on table over 20 minutes. Others appeared to get same bad service. Bad food. Cheesecake was dry. Coffee filled with coffee grounds. Wine was ok....

I arrived at the Warwick early in the day and somewhat fatigued. The amazing front desk personnel took such good care of me. I was escorted to a room that looked and smelled heavenly. When it was time to bath and get into bed, The Warwick didn't disappoint. I had two short days but it required all my will to...

We come in every year for St Patrick's day. Lovely hotel located near 5th ave. Cafe Milano, around the corner is great Italian food. An bon pain is a nice coffee shop also around the corner. Minus 5 ice bar is across the street, and MOMA is also across the street.

Never, ever any surprises on the downside. Always as expected, and often surprises on the upside. A no-fail, reliable, high-end option in midtown. Lots of old charm. Not fake. Not trying too hard. Fantastic location away from the Times Square hullabaloo.

The rooms are nice and comfortable, but the hotel is very old and definitely requires renovation. Do not order room service. We have ordered sandwiches. When the waiter brought them, they looked like somebody took a pound of sliced ham from the pack (did not even care to separate the slices) and just smashed it between two pieces of bread....

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
