We booked this hotel as it was the only one we could afford in Manhattan and had good reviews on this site. The staff were really friendly, and efficient, the rooms immaculately clean, albeit with dated decor. The bed was large and extremely comfortable with crisp...More

The staff is wonderful and very helpful at the reception. Rooms reasonable, a bit oldish. Our room was at the end of the corridor, so not facing the railway straight - the noise didn't disturb sleeping but the building shaked a little. The walls seemed...More

Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where
many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.

I am not sure as to what charges or fees that you are referring to. The only fee that I paid was the room rate (about USD $188/night) and the NYC tax (about USD $32/night). The only other fee mentioned on the bill was a USD $25 charge if you requested to checkout after 12pm (late checkout). I hope that this is helpful.
