I stayed at The Greenwich Hotel for a one week business trip. It has service and style for miles, and I absolutely loved the understated chic design of my room. Between the gym (fantastic), the spa (beautiful), and the amazing food at Locanda Verde, I had a sublime stay. They have a wonderful sitting area and outdoor dining area exclusively...

We have stayed here 3 times, and had an amazing stay every time. Love the hotel Lobby. Just a classy quiet way to check in. Off the lobby is a beautiful library that has comfortable couches, a nice small bar, and in winter a roaring fireplace. Its a very quiet and relaxing. There is a nice courtyard off the library...

We had a great long weekend at the Greenwich. The only reason it is not five stars is that the bed was not great and the price is a little high, but they really take good care of their guests. The guest only lounge is great as is the spa. The water pressure in the shower and soaking tub were...

I am new to tripadvisor reviews, but I have used it a lot in my travels...so I thought I should start sharing the amazing places I find... This one was definitely one of them. I have stayed in New York many times, and normally in Mid Town area...even the nice hotels are nondescript and you are just a number. At...

This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in (and one of the more expensive ones) I went with girlfriends and we had two adjoining rooms that were really beautiful. Easch room was large with a good sized bathroom, and one even had a soaking tub that fills with water in 60 seconds. One of my biggest...

This hotel is an unforgettable oasis in a busy city and during a hectic holiday. Our large room was decoarated well, with fabulous big sofa to sink into, a huge bed and so much space, makes the room much more comfortable for longer stays. The double shower with dark blue tiles felt like a mini spa and the complimentary mini...

Had a fantastic stay at the Greenwich Inn in Tribeca - NYC. What an awesome hotel. It was almost like staying at your cool friend's house - if your friend is totally connected to NY scene ! First day ran into Christie Turlington, 2nd day - Girard Depardieu; pretty cool folks. The rooms are lovely - frette linens; carrera marble;...

From the minute you walk in you sense this is a special place. The staff is very friendly and welcoming doing everything in person from escorting you to their lunch area to touring you in your room. Comfy beds, included mini bar and snacks, lovely rooms BUT.....the wireless didn't work and even after 15 minutes on the phone with an...

I read about the Greenwich Hotel in a blog sometime last year and made a mental note to check it out sometime. After a recent home burglary, my husband and I decided a 4 day getaway to New York was in order and I quickly booked what appeared to be the only available room left, a basic queen bed room...

It's surely one of the nicest hotels I have ever been. The staff is quite young, very well trained. They took really good care of me. Went to several plays, no problem to get tickets for me. They did send me to places, I have never been before. For excample to the foodmarket on Sunday under the BrooklynBridge. It's all...

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
