PROS: closer to caverns and Guadalupe National Park CONS: unfriendly front desk staff, poorly maintained facilities, maintenance staff rarely seen doing anything while park sits in disrepair. Some short term sites, many long-term residents. Would not stay here again, even for short term.

The campsite has a very level gravel lot, plenty long enough for the trailer and car, and the interior roads are gravel, easy to navigate except for the speed bumps. We had an end spot and had two patios and a picnic table. Some sites...More

This Carlsbad Rv park was fairly close to the caverns and did allow dogs. The Carlsbad Park itself had a very small kennel with no charge but not really recommended for much longer than a 3 hour stay.
