We just happened upon this resort on our way to Asheville and we wish we could have just stayed the whole trip!! The grounds are wonderful, the different places to stay all look wonderful, and the food was amazing.

The lodge was comfortable... was just two of us but could easily envision a large family vacation, with kids playing on the grounds, either at the pool, at the lake or gathering in the large lobby area with tv, bar, sitting area and game room...More
This property is beyond long-in-the-tooth, and they don't care.
Mattresses, old and worn out. Pillows, worn out and sparse. Phone system broken, for so long they couldn't remember for how long (makes you wonder if this is even within code).

As for other restaurants, there are many wonderful choices in both Flat Rock and downtown Hendersonville. You will not run out of options!
