Our tranquil lake setting is a haven for those seeking lodging in a casual, family resort atmosphere with the unhurried pace of a mountain retreat. A perfect place for honeymoons, anniversaries, family reunions, small group meetings or a quiet restorative getaway.
Great atmosphere, beautiful surroundings. Room was comfy and clean. We had a little “incident” shortly after checking in that was not really their fault but they still went above and beyond to try to make it up to us. I would stay here again. Give it a try, you will like it!
If you are looking for a higher end place to stay in this area this is not the place. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, and comfortable place that is not expensive and in a convenient location this is your place. The staff is extremely friendly and the rooms are clean. We had a view of the lake from our room. There are canoes and paddle boats for guests to use. They have an outdoor pool which we did not utilize (it may be closed already seeing as it is October). Located close to Asheville and Chimney Rock among other great places makes this a nice place to stay. The room comes complete with WiFi and a kitchenette.
Loved our stay, very friendly, beautiful setting in these days we never take time to step back and appreciate the surroundings. The service was very good any needs were handled by the staff as soon as requested. Very clean and friendly people. Ed & Connie Cate
We stayed here for a weekend wedding in Flat Rock and found the lodge to be satisfactory and fairly priced. The people working on the property were friendly and helpful. The internet connection was a little sketchy but the surrounding areas are beautiful

I don't know if they have a special rate for rooms that accommodate dogs. We were in a lake-view cottage, and it was $75 for the night. I believe the rates go up on May 1st. Mostly I'm just envious 'cause we lost our sweet beagle last October. If you do go to Mill House Lodge, I'm sure you'll have a great time in the Flat Rock-Hendersonville area. So much to do, and SO many great restaurants.
