This is the second time we have stayed at the Capitol Reef Inn. It's just as good as we remembered. There are 2 comfortable queen beds in a very large main room with wooden floors. The rooms are decorated in a SW motif. There is a little table in front of a big window with 2 chairs. The bathroom is...

I spent one night here recently and was very impressed. The rooms are in the back of the property with shady elms and a green lawn to greet you. My room had a western feel with cedar floors. I was very comfortable and the price was very reasonable. I wanted to stay here again on my way back through but...

The Capitol Reef Inn is small as far as size goes. I think there are ten rooms. The room was nice. There were two queen beds with clean and warm bedding. Visiting in October means a need for heat at night and they had base board heaters that kept the room at a comfortable temperature. The bathroom was clean and...

My wife and I stopped by, not knowing anything about the cafe. Did we get it right this time! My wife had the the Honey Hickory Chicken and I had the Chicken Fajitas. In a word: awesome! The owner was really nice and the staff were a blur, serving a packed cafe. Last, but not least, the prices were very...

This place part of a motel with a giftstore and a dance floor, looks like they might have music on the weekends. Lots of other choices on the menu besides vegetarian and they looked good as I watched the plates go by. I had a delicious mushroom lasagne and husband had stirfry. Salads pretty minimal but both entrees were really very...

I didn't stay at the Inn, just ate at the Cafe. I had fish and chips for lunch and a three cheese omelette for breakfast several days later. I really enjoyed both meals, the food was well prepared and fresh. The omelette was particularly good, with grilled red potatoes on the side.

Chicken fajitas were good but cold and it would have been nice to get a plate to build them on. My husband said the mushroom lasagna was okay for a snack and the garlic bread was the smallest I have ever seen.

My husband and I did not expect to find the type of quality and care that we found dining at this establishment. Everything from the impressive petrified wood structures outside, the gift shop inside and the entire dining experience was of exceptional quality. The food was delicious because of so many factors - the quality of the actual ingredients AND...

This was pleasantly nice. The rooms feel like cabins with the nice hardwood flooring and prairie looking courtyard. The cafe was nice with good food. The prices could be lower but I guess they have to take into account the fact there isn't much choices around. Otherwise, the portion sizes could be bigger to compensate for the high prices. The...
