We drove and drove and were absolutely depleted when we arrived. We were very happy with our room (clean, restful, relatively quiet - we could hear the TV next door through the wall, but that seems to be the norm more and more unfortunately) and...More
I stayed there for almost 1 year as I worked in the area, the staff was very friendly and always made me feel at home. The room was always cleaned well and the staff would "let me in" on local deals and activities. The Wi-Fi...More
This is a decent motel located right outside the entrance to Canyon de Chelly. The rooms are in decent shape. It has nice grounds with some grass and a small outdoor pool (no jacuzzi). There is a restaurant and gift store on-site.

I agree that the Holiday Inn was great in every aspect. Really nice property with rooms around a large grassy area. Room was all you could want with small patio. Very reasonable restaurant that featured a few local dishes, such as Navajo frybread and blue corn crusted trout that were nothing special but fine. Gift shop (but not open on weekends.) BW surrounds a parking lot and coffee shop. Guide told us Tbird was older but maybe he has relatives at HI ;) Honestly, we thought it was the most attractive Holiday Inn we've ever stayed at (IHG members) and interesting history (former trading post).
