Sad kids because the hotel did not tell us the boat schedule was different. Apparently it is only different 1 day a year. Total fail. Upset kids and expectations in the ditch. I could not be more upset right now. July 4th night is ruined. Management did not care at all. Spoke to a manager named Clark. We spent 20...

Bahia Bell paddle boat with live band! Very nice rooms. We stayed in a room with a water view and large balcony. Concierge has discount attraction tix! Only 2 blocks to...

We stayed for four nights end of June to beginning of July. Wonderful location, nice walk to Mission Beach, and to the bay. We were on the fourth floor in one of the towers. Our balcony faced the bay overlooking SeaWorld. The nightly SeaWorld fireworks were an unexpected plus and could be seen from our room. The grounds were in...

We stayed for 5 nights at the Bahia, and had a very pleasant stay. We arrived early, so our room was not ready. So we had lunch at the Bahia Cafe, and found the food and service to be very good. After lunch we received a text from the Hotel telling us our room was ready, and we were able...

My daughter and I stayed at the Bahia for one night on our way to a family wedding. I was immediately struck by the beautiful landscaping and of course its proximity to the water (surrounded by it). Upon check-in, we were delighted to learn that we had been upgraded to a Studio overlooking the bay. We enjoyed a beautiful view...

The view from our room was amazing. Their pool nicely over sized (no crowded feel) and cleaner than any I have seen. The beach grounds are cleaned every morning, employees are friendly. Close to everything and away from the traffic mess that seems to be around the beaches. My only major concerns were the leaking air conditioner and the laundry...

My grandchildren and I stayed at the Bahia in 2014 and had a great time, so I rebooked there this year. I called in March to reserve a room for June so I would get what I wanted. I requested a bay front room. What we got was completely different. We were put in a room in the tower across...

First of all, thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We also want to tell you we truly appreciate you choosing to stay with us once again, and that we are very sorry we were not able to recreate your previous experience. As you can imagine, summer is our busiest season, and although that is not an...

The landscaping is probably the best thing about this resort. The room was dark, the furniture worn, the carpet in bad condition at the sliding glass doors. The kitchenette was nice to have, but likewise needs to be updated, the view from the room was beautiful.

I worked with Monique to plan a meeting for about 150 participants. Monique was a pleasure to work with and helped with everything. The room used for meetings was very comfortable and accessible and worked well for the meeting needs. The food was served promptly and cleared promptly. Our participants were very pleased with the experience at the Bahia. Most...

My husband and I stayed at the Bahia for four nights. We got upgraded to a suite and the room was definitely big, however, our room was on the first floor and looked right at the lobby. We weren't able to open the curtains unless we wanted everyone to see inside. The room overall was clean, but outdated which made...

Additional nearby water activities include sailing, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, surfing and more though nobody will blame you for simply relaxing on our soft sand beaches or at our sparkling pool. Back on land, the Bahia boasts a fitness center, kids’ arcade, tennis courts and bicycle and Segway rentals. Within walking distance guests can also explore Belmont Park, an oceanfront amusement park featuring the Great Dipper, a wooden roller coaster and designated historic landmark built in 1925. Take in the picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean during a leisurely stroll on the boardwalk, go rock climbing, or play miniature golf in this popular beachfront locale. Traveling further afield is a breeze, as the Bahia’s location is ideal for those seeking to experience San Diego’s major attractions. The Bahia Resort Hotel is located directly across from SeaWorld and is within 10 miles from the world famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Downtown’s Gaslamp District and the San Diego International Airport.
