We stayed for one night. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Front desk staff was very friendly and even offered us extra cookies and a room with a better view! Also, great location in Little Italy and a short walk to the harbor. Our only negative experience was the parking lot. Extremely narrow parking lot entry/exit and we ended up scraping...

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is right in Little Italy and near some of the best restaurants in the city. It is also near a San Diego Trolley stop so the city is at your command. The hotel unfortunately is average. Nothing of note here. In the last few times I've visited I've gotten a handicapped room...

I stayed here for a week on business recently and was very happy with the whole experience. From the easy check-in (and sorting the issue with my loyalty card!) to the simple layout of the hotel the whole stay was effortless. My room was of a good size with all the features you'd expect. I ate breakfast in the hotel...

I was at a conference and stayed here since it was walking distance to the conference center. The shuttle to and from the airport was free and on time. Hotel was clean, spacious rooms, front desk staff and cleaning ladies was very friendly and helpful. They also have a bar and a restaurant. I did not try the food. I...

I stayed here for a meeting at the hotel. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is older, but very clean and well-kept. The room was spotless and maid service kept it that way. I didn't hear any noise from other rooms. The hotel is a few blocks from the freeway and near the airport, but...

The Doubletree is an older property you can tell, but maintained very well, and in a great location. But, the staff is what makes this place great. We arrived early for check in, and the front desk stored our bags, took my cell number and called when the room we wanted was available before normal check in time. The room...

The staff at this hotel are some of the best. The cleaning crew is superb and go above and beyond to ensure there was bottled water left in the room after each cleaning. It is a nice 2 minute walk to Little Italy, and having Farmers Market right there on Saturday provided entertainment to add to my college football watching....

If you are a business traveler visiting your client in Little Italy with no rental car, you are OK to stay at this hotel (Little Italy is less than 2 min away, nice walk; Gaslamp quarter is about 30 min away by walking), but if you are leisure traveler (especially with family) please read on. The actual rooms including HHonors...

The service is very good with very kind people. The room was average. The swimming pool is nice with a pretty view on the bay. Unfortunatly the room is very noisy with the highway to close and the airport. So if you are not very tired, it could be difficult to sleep.
