The hotel is in a great location if you need to catch an early morning flight from the airport. Less than 5 minutes to the rental car return. The location, however, is not scenic or near any good areas to eat or walk. Old town is nearby, but you have to walk under I-5. The room was good: spacious, good...

Our rooms were clean, beds super comfy and such a nice big bathroom! Love the extra sink and mirror outside the bathroom. Love the fact you can walk over to Old Town where there are lots of good restaurants and things to see and do.

Spent one night for business meeting. It's close to the airport and downtown, with the added advantage of free parking; go a couple miles closer at a chain hotel and you pay $25 a night to park. Pleasant, helpful staff. It was raining buckets when we were there, so didn't get a chance to walk over to Old Town, which...

This hotel is clean, quiet and affordable. We are allowed to bring our dog for a small fee each night. The staff is always polite and willing to correct any issues. Continental breakfast has waffles, eggs, and other items for a decent breakfast. I would like to see them switch that up once in a while but the service area...

This was our third stay at the Old Town Inn; and from the first visit, we have been impressed by the helpful staff, the substantial breakfasts, the quality of the rooms, and the easy access to the Old Town transit hub. We relaxed at the heated pool on several warm, sunny afternoons. The Old Town Inn is also quite affordable....

Bit of a shock when we arrived after dark as the hotel is situated in a industrial part of the old town, seemingly not close to anything, but just over the road, through a dodgy car park, down into an underpass, across the bus station lies the fabulous hidden old town of San Diego, fabulous! The hotel is welcoming and...

Dear Fizzy2013: I agree we are certainly in an unusual area, As you found out our secret...we are centrally located close to everything. One benefit of being in a more industrial setting than a typical commercial setting is that it tends to be very quiet at night since there is not a lot of traffic. We admit that it may...

My husband and I stayed here for one night after landing at San Diego Airport late in the evening. The Inn is an easy drive from the airport. Our room was clean, attractive, and comfortable, and the bed was one of the best beds we've ever slept on. Seriously. The free breakfast buffet was excellent, with many delicious choices. The...
