Location was excellent! It's on Hotel Circle. Our first room we checked into from Hotels.com was not acceptable at all. There weren't even outlet covers on the outlets! The door frames needed to be wiped down. They were dirty by the handles. There was still hair on the toilet bowl. We called the front desk and asked for a different...

Thank you for your honest comments. I belive you understand our plight. We are an older property, right in the middle of San Diego. Our decore is older, but clean and our prices are great. I will speak to our maintenance team to check for missing light socket covers. Thank you again for your comments. Mike Hensley, General Manager

I got a room on 2nd floor. It was clean and comfortable. Staff was nice and efficient. Central location is a plus. Overall great value for the price. Definitely will stay here again next time I visit San Diego.

This was the hotel from hell. When we walked into our room we were immediately slapped in the face with a horrible odor. When we tried to close our door we realized the entire door frame was cracked and the hinge was half hanging from the wall. It looked like someone kicked in the door. There were stains splattered all...

After reading some of the reviews I was skeptical about staying at this hotel. I had a very pleasant surprise. The hotel grounds are lush and beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff is very nice and professional. The location of this hotel is convenient and the restaurant and bar were really good! I will be staying here again...

Thank you for your honest comments. You are correct, there is a bit of a love / hate concept going on here. Travelers who come to our hotel with the expectation that they just got a 5 Star Resort in San Diego for $70 seem to have very high expectation, when the reality is we are a quaint older property...

Just finished a 2 night stay at the hotel. Great staff, food and beverage. Ideal if you are into shopping, sports and restaurants. Easy freeway access and close to the gas lamp dist. Will stay here on my next trip to San Diego.

Resort? Far from it. This place is really dirty and the A/C didn't work. I agree...Hotel 6 is much better. I went two days without towels. I was told I would get a small refund. Nothing! Advice? Go somewhere else. So sad, this could be a nice place with a major make over.

My wife and I stay here often on business and pleasure. Everything is great and the value is outstanding. The rooms are ample, beds are comfortable and the pool is crystal clear just the right temperature. The pub is a neat chill out place, the food is great and the restaurant next door is just super. There is nothing not...

I understand that a low budget hotel is often without frills. However I do not consider expecting a room with no feces on the bathroom floor, blood on the walls, dubious bedding in terms of cleanliness, no towels, moldy tiles hanging from the ceiling and obvious prostitution going on directly outside to be frills. This place is sleazy and the...

If there were negative ratings, I'd give it. Place is horrible. Motel 6 is better, trust me!! HEAVY drug use in broad public. Public drinking. They don't tell you but people actually also live at this hotel. It is NOT a resort. The rooms are horrible (lamps that don't work, bugs, broken a/c's, dirty filthy carpet and walls, horrible mini-fridges')......

Where do you start? Desk staff at evening check in was rude, unhelpful. I should have known right away to cancel. She kept giving excuses to other customers, nearly yelling at them and did not come through on any of our requests. The general grounds were trashy. The room was a disgrace. Seemed like an old college apartment - well...
