We recently stayed at the Andaz San Diego for my wife's 40th birthday celebration. We really enjoyed excellent customer service during valet and check in. We reserved a cabana on the rooftop and what a beautiful view of the city! Our sever started off amazing with food and drinks but after several hours it was a little difficult to get...

Great welcomes are before 10 pm. Our bad for having a delayed flight. The hotel is beautiful but be aware the bathroom wall is made of see-thru glass. If you're the first one up to take a shower, you'll not only wake up your partner when you turn on the bathroom light but they also get a free show. Overall,...

As a bit of a disclaimer, I am a Diamond level member at Hyatt so I might be a bit biased. Take that for what it's worth. The Andaz has emerged, to me at least, as a great alternative to the typical business class property. Always with nice little touches and personalized service, this chain of hotels strives to be...

We love Andaz and Park Hyatt!!! We travel a lot and this time we tried Andaz San Diego. We were poorly welcome in the Hotel !! First disapointment!!! second!! They didn't clean our room the did only the bed and even the garbage as not empty!!!The staff in general and mostly in reception don't seem very motivated.

We chose the Andaz for 2 reasons: we are Hyatt Gold Passport members and, it was close to the ballpark. We didn't plan to enjoy the hotel so much! When you check in, the staff greets you with enthusiasm and ask if you want a drink while you check in. The rooms are very contemporary and clean. Nice freebies provided,...

I adore this hotel.. it is convenient, sophisticated and conteporary and perfect for couples. The rooms are very clean and the size is pretty big for a regular room. We stayed in the room with the open shower in the middle and that was hot.. (in a great way). The rooftop is the perfect spot to relax during the day...

This was my fifth time at the Andaz San Diego. I love the rooms and the location. The rooftop pool also has music and a great bar to hang out. It is located in the gas lamp district, therefore you have so many great restaurants opened late. There is a great bar and club scene on the weekends. Worth every...

This is a unique facility with a modern custom touch. The staff are all helpful and concerned with making your experience effortless. Very welcoming and clean. Although on business, yet we were traveling with our 1yr old child, I could see this being a romantic destination. Close to nightlife, shopping and food. It worked great for us, but I do...

Easy valet/check-in. however, pricey to valet park nightly. Room was clean and bright. On the sixth floor, we had 2 windows. For the most part the room was quiet, except for a few trucks and sirens. The hotel is close to restuarants, attractions and waterfront. Rooftop breakfast was awesome. (food and view) Flowers were sent to the hotel and were...

Room was tiny and not cleaned properly. We were checked in in middle of the night since a diff hotel we were supposed to stay by was too horrible to spend the night. The staff was very accommodating but the room just wasn't up to our standards. We r very picky about clean and fresh and airy. The room was...
