This hotel was better than we expected. The room was comfortable, bathroom was fine, and tv worked well. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony which was nice. The breakfast was a very nice touch and we found lots to eat. It's close to the trolley which makes getting around very easy. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I was recently working in San Diego, and needed to find a hotel that had rooms at government per diem rates. What I didn't know was that I was visiting during San Diego Beer Week, so the hotels downtown didn't have the rate available. The Old Town area was the next best thing; it worked out great, since it was...

Hotel is an easy trip to and from the airport...several restaurants are within a short walking distance...free parking is under ground...room was clean, comfortable and had a pod coffee maker. Our ground level room opened up to a lovely patio area with lounge chairs, tables and a pool. The fitness room was just that...a room, but it was adequate. The breakfast was was...

The layout of this hotel was different than other Fairfield Inn's I've stayed at, but once I figured out where everything was, it was fine. I was pleased that we were able to check in to our room about two hours early, and I was happy to see we were facing the courtyard on the first floor. Later, as we...

The service and quality of the rooms is very poor. The converted guest room into fitness center left much to be desired - and yet was probably the highlight. The air conditioning unit in my room rattled so loudly, it was impossible to sleep. The front desk said "thanks we'll make a note of that." Nice standard breakfast.

Dear Kingmike, I would like to apologize for the experience that you had during your stay with us here in San Diego. I am a little shocked that you felt our Fitness room was underwhelming since it is one of the largest Fairfield Fitness centers in the Country. We also partnered with Lifetime Fitness across North America, and have been...

Very happy with our stay. Located right next to Old Town San Diego with safe and easy walking to all Old Town attractions. Very clean well maintained hotel, great for a longer stay as you can really make your self at home. Staff we friendly and very helpful.

We stayed here while attending Marine graduation. It is the perfect location;you are 5 minutes from everything-base,airport, and local attractions. We spent a day just walking around Old Town. The staff was friendly, there was always coffee available, and we enjoyed the layout of the hotel (not what we see at home!)

I spent close to 40 nights in this year in hotels, by far this was the worst experience. I arrived 60 min before checkin time and no room were available. I was told I am only guaranteed check in at 3PM or after. While waiting a couple came in and checked in. When I asked, how come they checked in,...

Dear Ajay, I would like to apologize for the experience you had at our hotel recently. The issues that you described to me are absolutely unacceptable. We have programs in place to prevent the door lock batteries from dyeing while a guest is staying in the room, but it seems that we dropped the ball during your visit with us....

This is the second time that we stayed at this hotel, and three years later they have not updated parts of it at all. When we arrived, the air conditioning in our room was not working. The hotel was aware of this and put us in the room anyway. They did change our room but the whole process took over...

Dear Carol P, I would like to sincerely apologize for the Air Conditioning unit in your room. We pride ourselves in providing a high level of accommodation for all of our guests, and it seems we completely missed the mark with your stay. We just recently Re-Opened our Pool & Spa yesterday November 9th which has been undergoing a renovation...

Hotel room was clean and spacious. We were on the third floor. The room had a balcony with a view of the lobby which I thought was funny. But at least we could enjoy the fresh air. There is a $17 parking fee but it was waived I think because the pool was out of commission. The hotel grounds were...

“The kurek coffee maker didn't work, but no matter. The free breakfast coffee was very good. I called housekeeping to exchange towels and pick up garbage 2nd day of my stay. And they were there immediately. They were terrific. TV went blank several times. I turned off and on, and got it to work again.”
