We stayed at this property during Thanksgiving week and we had a great experience. I read a lot of the other reviews and I am surprised by some of the negative ones. First, I feel it is a very safe hotel. There is plenty of lighting below in the underground parking area. The parking area is pretty tight for larger...

As a long-time Marriott customer with elite status, I try to stay on their properties whenever I am traveling. With a quick overnight business trip to San Diego, I made a last-minute reservation and my usual location was booked. TripAdvisor reviews were acceptable for this location and I booked my stay. After nearly a month of emails with the property...

Thank you so much for your feedback. Safety is a top concern to us here at the Fairfield Inn & Suites, and I am so sorry you did not feel safe while you were here on property. Your feedback was well received and I am working with the Chief Engineer on many opportunities to make all of guests feel more...

This place is ok, but not really worth the $200 a night we paid. The room is basic business style room, we did get a balcony as booked. The balcony doesn't have furniture to sit on. There isn't any complimentary water which I would expect for the price. Air con worked well. Reception staff were helpful but housekeeping not great....

This was the first time we had stayed at a Fairfield Inn Hotel and we were pleasantly surprized by the accommodations. We used Marriott Reward Points for our 3 nite stay and we had a nice comfortable bed and clean room with free breakfast in the morning in the dining room. We were in Old Town so we were able...

My parents, husband and I absolutely loved our time in this hotel. The staff were lovely & friendly and helped us make attraction bookings etc. Free breakfast was tasty & plentiful. Our rooms were a good size, clean & modern. The laundry room was a great facility to offer. Both machines were cheap to operate & fast. Great to leave...

This is an older hotel, but doesn't feel like one. Probably updated in the last few years. Clean hotel, friendly staff. There were many guests but at night I couldn't tell. Solid construction the way things used to be built provides a quiet environment. The grounds are very nice and the courtyard view has a resort feel to it. You...

I booked this hotel because of the location in Old Town, San Diego. The front desk was very efficient and had all rooms assigned by name. Billing was fast and there werre no surprises. The rooms are large, quiet, clean and well appointed. It was nice enough I went back a week later and steyed there.

Even though I had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the courtyard, which had a balcony- with a view of a nicely landscaped area with a fire pit and fountain, the room itself was lacking in amenities. The bed didn't meet the standards of the "Marriott bed." It was not firm enough. The tub seemed dirty with some sort...

We arrived fairly late in the evening after a 10 hour drive and were told that the room they had reserved for us had flooded earlier in the day and they'd had to clean the carpets. The desk attendant told us that they were pretty sure the carpet would be dry, but if it wasn't we were to come back...

We arrived a few hours before check in. Usuall with Marriott properties there is not a problem checking in early afternoon. We were asked for our cell number and told when a room was available they would call us. So we went exploring San Diego. When we didn't hear by 4pm, we went back to the hotel, got an apology...
