Stayed for 3 nights with my family. Almost everything was up to highest standards. Very clean room, huge TV, huge and modern-looking shower cabin (much better than a bathtub, in my opinion). Shower head with a hose! Everything working, everything clean, staff is very helpful.

I stayed here last year and overall it was a memorable experience for me. Staff were great. My room was huge with a great view. Definitely recommended and I would stay here again. Walking distance to all the great restaurants in Gaslamp.

Great hotel in general. But they've set the bar very high for the competition, in how you define "pet friendly." Absolutely free, and they go all out to make your furry friend feel welcome and taken care of. Would probably never stay anywhere else if in San Diego again.

Our four nights at Hotel Indigo couldn’t have been better. We arrived on our first night to a greeting for both two and four legged members of our family. At the front desk, we were overheard discussing our dinner plans. All the members of our family were invited into the bar

We stayed at hotel Indigo for 5 nights during the Winter holidays. The hotel was very centrally located, walking distance from Gaslamp quarter. The common areas and the room were very stylish and comfortable. The rooftop bar was cool, even in December. We only tried breakfast in

Hello Eugene-O, Thanks for taking the time to write a review of your recent visit. Sounds like you had a great visit to SD ! Sorry about the morning restaurant experience. We did get very busy on some mornings this year due to the unusually cold morning weather. And honestly, had a couple of instances with difficulty in seating and serving our guests. We are very proud of our F&B operation and I apologize for the experience. Hopefully you noticed we change our menus seasonally using many locally sourced products to keep the menu interesting - so I hope you give us the opportunity to make it up. Please come see us again soon . Happy New Year ! Tony Lovoy, General Manager

Off street parking is available but typically not secure or monitored. Parking fees in downtown are very similar among hotels due to limited spaces. Depending on your travel dates you may find that hotel pricing at the Hotel Indigo San Diego may make for the cost of parking.

Is this hotel kid/teen friendly?
No. After 5 attempts my room keys weren't working. My kids and wife were sleeping inside and I didn't want to wake them up. Upon my frustration, a staff member told me he would be right be with the "master key" becuase I told him I didn't want to week up my family. Instead, he decided to call and wake up my entire family and we couldn't fall the kids asleep for more than two hours. When I complained to the manager, this person (we ordered the eisenhower dish) get really defensive form the start instead of listening to what happened. I have everything on video they way they were responding to me. Completely unprofessional and incompetent staff. I've been an IHG member for years and stayed at their hotels all over the world. I just cam back from the Mexico were I stayed at the Hilton Santa Fe and LOVED every minute of it. I will not stop review how bad these "employees" made our vacation.

Is this hotel kid/teen friendly?
While there are no kid/teen oriented amenities on property, there is a park two blocks away at the edge of Petco Park. Downtown also has a Children's museum, as well as the Maritime museum. Vertical Hold is fun for a rock climbing adventure, and there are rental bikes and scooters scattered throughout the neighborhood (bring a helmet).

Hello, Is breakfast included in the room rate?
Breakfast was included in the price and you only get at voucher worth 30 USD for TWO persons that you can order à la carte breakfast for! That sum barely covers a bagel with cream cheese and cappuccino. If you want e.g. scrambled eggs with TWO slices of bacon and ONE toast you have to be prepare to pay extra for it. The à la carte menu for breakfast is also ridiculously priced (expensive).
