I stayed here for three days. We had a business meeting on site. In certain spots, the place looked amazing. For example, nice lobby, great view of Mission Bay, and a decent beach. The rooms were updated, but felt plain. Very musty and humid in the rooms. Our group dropped a few hundred bucks at the Barefoot Grill on drinks-...

Thank you for your review. We’re very glad to hear that you enjoyed the Mission Bay view, lobby and beachfront property. However, we’re disappointed that the rest of your time in Paradise did not meet your expectations. We hope you might consider returning to Paradise in the future, as we’d like to show you the amazing experience we’re typically known...

We spent 5 nights here with our 9 month old. The resort covers a fairly large area with many different accommodations. We stayed in the standard guest rooms that were located just steps from the main pool (which also has a bar). Check-In was easy and they were able to get us in our room a couple hours earlier than...

This is a wonderful hidden treasure. I found this hotel on Travelzoo. Surprise my husband for Father's Day. The whole family had a blast. We had so much fun we plan on going back next year for Father's Day.

I am currently staying here at paradise point, was a bit concerned after seeing all the reviews but it is absolutely beautiful here! Upon check in we had an upgrade to our room with private car parking right outside our door. The room was huge and was clean. The grounds are beautiful.. So much to do. Have eaten at the...

We booked a garden view premium lanai room; it was a bit pricey even with a 25% discount but it was August in San Diego! Very close to Sea World and a quick drive to downtown, restaurants, the zoo, etc. Nice pool area and gym with a few dining options on the property. It's somewhat dated but that's really what...

We had a junior suite right on the beach. A bit pricey but we would absolutely stay here again. Fabulous view, great sunset. Service was exceptional, room was large and comfortable. A bit time worn, with signs of mouldings, etc needing repair, but we understand that the suites are to be completely renovated in November. The only down side which...

this place is great and we have been there several times. However, when booking with getaroom.com, there was no mention about the additional charges for both parking and resort fee which was a surprise when we got there. Just a suggestion to getaroom.com to be sure to note all not included fees.

Linda, we are delighted to hear that you’ve enjoyed your time in Paradise, and that you continue spending your vacation with us again and again! Unfortunately, we do not have control over how the resort and parking fee are displayed on third party sites, like getaroom.com, but we do have that information on the “Accommodations” page of our website, if...

This was probably a great place to stay in the 1970s....but it seems that nothing has been done to maintain it since then. Rooms are worn, beds are hard as concrete, bathroom fixtures are stained and scratched (tub and toilet), furniture is worn or torn, amenities (like ironing boards) are broken, windows are dirty, pictures are mounted on the walls...

Thank you for sending over your feedback. We’re saddened to hear about your experience, as this is not the type of island getaway we like to provide for our guests. We’re also disappointed to hear that you did not enjoy our on-site restaurants, as Tidal was ranked one of the best new restaurants by San Diego Magazine, Zagat and Thrillist,...

This was a unique vacation island. I can't think of anywhere else in SoCal where you can stay on an island, in a room where the doors literally open up to the sand and the beachfront, not even at The Ritz. The property itself is massive and the vegetation and water features make it feel like a resort in the...
