I stayed here during the start of December 2010 and it was not a good experience. The place is filthy and I mean filthy. The best thing the owners could do is bulldose the entire place and start from scratch because it is in a lovely location. You can wake up in the morn and eat your pancakes on the...

So you hated us so much that you extended for an extra night??????? You extended whilst well aware that we do not refund extensions because we are such a massively popular hostel that we sell out every night for much of the year. Which means we turn down bookings when we are full. Therefore we do not refund as we...

This is about the BEST in hostel travel. Ryan, Kevin, and the crew at The Banana made my stay incredibly smooth. I was traveling on a mix of business and leisure and this spot was the key to a good trip. I stayed two nights on my way into San Diego, and two nights on my way out (about a...

The staff are awesome and made us feel at home right from the start. The location is better than any of us have ever come across - right on the beach. Weather not too great the first day or two (but it was January) but there are so many things going on that it wasn't too much of a problem....

This is a great location. It's fun and I recommend it for travelers who want to meet people and drink. I didn't do many touristy things around there so I don't know if it's a good location in that respect. But it's on the beach, cheap and awesome.

A very fun place to stay!! The staff are friendly and helpful, and fun to have around. Rooms are pretty basic, and the bathrooms are a bit small, but generally clean, and with good showers. It is a bit of a party hostel with tunes playing all day, but very relaxing during the sunlight hours with the back deck to...

Have recently got back from a 5 day stay here, i was very impressed with the hostel's location as you cant get any closer to the beach. There're some good bars/pubs @ clubs within walking distance aswel as shops and resturants all literally within a 2 min walk. Loads of places to rent surfboards/boogie boards/wetsuits/rollerblades/bikes you get the message! All...
