great location, very comfortable rooms but here are my observations from our recent 4 nite stay: breakfast a bit chaotic e.g.. i had to ask for a bowl each morning for the oatmeal at the buffet. Lots of polite staff but it was very obvious who the managers were as they got things done pronto! As for our concierge experience,...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

The overall impression of our stay at the Westin San Diego is fantastic. The staff at the reception is exceptionally friendly. We got a newly renovated room on the 24th floor with a great view. In the evening there was a complimentary wine reception for SPG-members in the lobby, which was a perfect start for our first night in San...

I stay in a ton of hotels, and I can't think of one with a larger TV than this place. If you are a couch potato, you'll love this TV. However, who really stays in the room in San Diego?? So you probably won't use it much. Ironic. Great pool, gets lots of Sun and not shadowed by the hotel...

We had a bay view room that overlooked the city and offered incredible sight lines to the ocean, famed Coronado bridge and the bay. The hotel location and ammenities were impeccable and could suit anyone's needs. On top of that, the hotel staff never ceased to impress with their diligence to provide top-notch service. The housekeeping staff was incredible. They...

I stayed 4 nights for a work related conference. For the first time in my life I actually had connecting rooms with my co-worker. The room was spacious and clean. Comfortable bed with lots of comfortable pillows. Lots of electrical outlets everywhere for the electronics--even at the bedside table. Very large TV. We had noshes and drinks one night in...

Located close to Gaslamp and downtown. Easy walk to attractions, short drive to Balboa Park. Friendly Staff. Off street valet parking. Nice bar and buffet. Quiet and updated room. I would certainly book here again.

We stayed at the Westin in San Diego when my son came in from deployment. The staff was amazing, the beds were very comfortable and the view we had from the 18th floor was breath taking. A little spendy.

Check-in was quick and easy, by their friendly staff. Room was very clean as you would expect. Nice size standard room. Walking distance to almost anything in downtown San Diego. If you don't feel like walking, inexpensive Uber rides will get you there. Was there for a 4 day conference and never needed to venture very far. Very nice place...

The ONLY redeeming part of this hotel is proximity to many things in downtown San Diego. I live int he San Diego area and thought rather than commute 20 miles up the coast and back for 2 days while a conference was in town, I would stay here. I am very familiar with the area so why not? Anyhow, it...
