We have stayed for 3 different holiday weeks: Thanksgiving and Christmas. We have cooked full turkey dinners in the tiny kitchen in one of the cottages. They have had to come and replace the microwave and electric switches but they were prompt even on a holiday! The cottages and hotel are basic, but it is all about the location on...

Came back last summer with family just to "chill" for a week but I've only gotten around to reviewing it now. No changes from our last visit, it's still wonderful and I love the cottages and the beach. Always a pleasure to visit.

The location is perfect. We were attending a wedding at the Catamara, a couple blocks from there so it was perfect, plus it is right by the ocean. The hotel is quite old and it could totally use a remodel and upgrade. The carpets are super old and the rooms are not very clean (mostly the carpets) The staff is...

Great location but overpriced . If you are on the in the main building its a great view , however if you stay on the street side it can be very loud at night because of the bars . The building is very old , no pool or spa . They do have shuffle board and table tennis. Close to...

We have stayed several times at the Beach Cottages. Every experience has been great. The staff at the desk are helpful and friendly. Housekeeping is efficient and thorough. Our room was on the 2nd floor and we had a great view of the beach and ocean.

Best location on the beach, just steps away from the sand. The cottages are a little outdated and in need of a refurbishing. Each cottage has an outdoor grill. We went to the grocery store across the street and grilled our own dinner a few nights and enjoyed the patio. Overall great stay. Can get a little noisey at night...

We stayed on the 3rd level and had a beautiful view of the ocean. Great room, great service, and great everything. They even have 3 ping pong tables and a shuffleboard for children to play with. I absolutely love it here, I plan on staying here every time we go to San Diego.

My family and I stayed for just two nights in late May. Free parking and easy check in. This family owned place has a great location on Pacific beach. Our cottage was the 2nd to the front on the left side facing the beach. You literally walk a few feet and you're at the boardwalk. The only down fall for...

Traveled for family event and stayed for two nights. Friendly front desk and housekeeping staff. No frills but clean, quiet and reasonably priced. Stayed here each summer in my teens (20 years ago) and the place looks and feels the same now. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing vacation in PB!

We stay at the Beach Cottage 2-3 times a year. We have always enjoyed ourselves there. It is a great location and walking distance no matter what you want to eat. The people there have always been very nice to us. I recommend this place to a lot of people.
