We had a top floor unit with sweeping ocean views and lovely sea breeze. A great kitchen with everything you need for all meals, guest laundry and Ralph's Supermarket across the road. Close proximity to Balboa Park, SeaWorld, Coronado and La Jolla as well as Las Americas fashion outlets. Beds were comfy, rooms clean and staff very welcoming, looking forward...

Went here for a few days Mid April. Had a second row 1 bedroom cottage. This was very conviently located to everything - Harbor, Zoo, SeaWorld. And just out the property was easy walking to the boardwalk shops and restaurants and bars. Cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Housekeeping even came everyday which was unexpected. Front desk was...

We were on a mini vacation and we rented a room with 2 beds and it was located in a nice area where you have access to the beach from the hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious and the kitchen helped a lot to make some meals for the family. The staff is friendly and helped us each time...

We have stayed for 3 different holiday weeks: Thanksgiving and Christmas. We have cooked full turkey dinners in the tiny kitchen in one of the cottages. They have had to come and replace the microwave and electric switches but they were prompt even on a holiday! The cottages and hotel are basic, but it is all about the location on...

Came back last summer with family just to "chill" for a week but I've only gotten around to reviewing it now. No changes from our last visit, it's still wonderful and I love the cottages and the beach. Always a pleasure to visit.

The location is perfect. We were attending a wedding at the Catamara, a couple blocks from there so it was perfect, plus it is right by the ocean. The hotel is quite old and it could totally use a remodel and upgrade. The carpets are super old and the rooms are not very clean (mostly the carpets) The staff is...

We have stayed several times at the Beach Cottages. Every experience has been great. The staff at the desk are helpful and friendly. Housekeeping is efficient and thorough. Our room was on the 2nd floor and we had a great view of the beach and ocean.

Best location on the beach, just steps away from the sand. The cottages are a little outdated and in need of a refurbishing. Each cottage has an outdoor grill. We went to the grocery store across the street and grilled our own dinner a few nights and enjoyed the patio. Overall great stay. Can get a little noisey at night...
