I travel to San Diego once a year and have found that the absolute best place to stay is the Keating House just minutes from the Airport. The garden is beautiful and private, great place to sit, read, or have a great cup of coffee. The rooms are clean and comfortable and lend themselves to a relaxing time any time...

After reading previous reviews, I expected to find this place a little noisy (it's right under the flight path for San Diego airport). What I did not expect was the sheer level of nose. It is NOISY. Stayed 2 nights. The first night we were woken by planes at 5am, and the second night the noise started at 4.45am. I...

We stay at Keating House each year - San Diego is a great place, and Keating House is our favorite San Diego point of interest! Doug and Ben are fantastic hosts and the house attracts a fascinating range of people. If it's San Diego you're interested in, downtown and Balboa Park are in walking distance, as is the Little Italy...

We had a great time at Keating House. The owners are friendly and helpful without being over bearing. The location is perfect - within walking distance of Balboa Park, Hillcrest, Little Italy and the Gas Lamp quarter. Highly recommended!

Wow, what a wonderful and relaxing stay. We went to celebrate our 20th anniversary and Ben & Doug made it our best anniversary yet. I have never stayed at a Bed & Breakfast before, I was afraid it would be like staying in a strangers house, WRONG. We felt right at home. They were more than willing to help us...

My husband and I went to San Diego for our 2 years anniversary and the Keating house was our first B&B experience. I can say that we haven't been disappointed at all... The house is spacious, with a nice front yard and a big back yard full of beautiful flowers. We had the aqua room with our private entrance on...

We choose this BandB based on its location and amenities. Doug and Ben provide a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of Downtown. Even though parking is at a premium, guests are provided the opportunity to park in the narrow drive overnight ( we twice took advantage of this option). Breakfasts are delicious and include fresh fruit , homemade...
