Unfortunately, our room was not clean. We opened the closet to find a pair of underwear from a previous occupant hanging on the bar. There were food wrappings, a dirty fork, and a dirty foam plate on the floor along the bases of both beds. I told the manager about this when we checked out. She was very apologetic and said the housekeeper assigned to our room was quitting soon so that is probably why she didn’t do a good job. She assured us that our sheets were cleaned but didn’t offer any kind of compensation.
We booked the room for four people but were only given two towels. We had to wait until after 10pm for more because they were being washed. We have young children so this wasn’t optimal. The bright side was that the front desk employee called us to let us know they were ready as she said she would. My husband had to get out of bed to go get them because there was no staff to bring them up. We didn’t want to wait until morning for fear they would no longer be available.
Also a bit disappointed in breakfast … no protein options other than sugar laden yogurt.
