In accordance with recommendations from public health officials including the CDC, we have implemented enhanced operating protocols from check in to check out and everything in between. This includes the following: Guest Rooms: We are using cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean rooms after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with particular attention paid to high-touch items. Public Spaces: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in public spaces, with a focus on the counter at the front desk, elevators (and elevator buttons), door handles, public bathrooms and even room keys. Back of House: In the spaces where associates work “behind the scenes,” we are increasing the frequency of cleaning and focusing on high-touch areas like associate entrances, laundry rooms and staff offices. Please Note: Limited cereal coffee waffles juice We are located less than 8 miles from downtown Topeka, this hotel/motel features an indoor pool and hot tub. Free Wi-Fi is also available in all areas. A flat-screen TV and a coffee maker are found in each modern room of the Econo Lodge Wanamaker. A work desk and an iron are also included. A hot breakfast buffet is served at the Wanamaker Econo Lodge each morning. Items include Belgian waffles, pastries and fresh fruit. Guests are welcome to enjoy newspapers or finish last-minute work at the business center. A laundry room and 24-hour desk service are also provided. The Expo Center is 15 minutes from the Econo Lodge. Gage Park and the Topeka Zoo are less than 5 miles away.

I like the location and the view. The room was nice but the staff was unfriendly. The breakfast was horrible. The eggs had no flavor and no meat. Where was the sausage and bacon. I would recommend you stay here. But I would also recommend you don’t eat the breakfast. Great place friendly staff. Room was clean everything worked and looked like pictures online. The waffles in the morning were delicious. My son slept on the sofa bed and slept the whole nite through. Definitely visiting again. I would recommend this place

The hotel has recently changed management and now offers excellent value for money. The room was big and clean as was the pool and spa facilities. The management and staff could not of been more helpful and even let us do some washing. We have travelled 16000 miles in 4months and this is by far one of the best hotels we have stayed at to date. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was a good variety of hot and colld and the Internet was good. The hotel was clean and welcoming and I will definitely stay here again on my way back through.

Horrible place! The television said “no subscription” and the phone did not work when I tried to call the front desk. I WALKED downstairs (because there is no elevator to carry your luggage up in) to speak to the front desk attendant who said he never had a complaint about the tv or phone before. He said he would text his manager and knock on my door to let me know what he found out…..The refrigerator was tilted backward for some reason and it desperately needed defrosting. The hotel had a terrible odor. The breakfast was a joke. Spend a little more money and stay at the Hampton Inn on the hill behind this gross place. It needs to be razed and the space used as parking for the other businesses.

This motel is run exclusively by a foreign couple. They are rude, hard to understand, and do not understand American customs. When I arrived at the motel, the desk clerk (manager wife) told me that there was an additional charge for the room. I balked, having prepaid. Her husband came out and said they could charge the additional fee because he had posted a sign in the lobby saying so. (Huh?) I said, fine, I'll pay it, let's go. He then made me wait 30 minutes while he "checked my reservation." Mind you, I had prepaid and confirmed the reservation already. This was vengeance, pure and simple. I would have walked, but it was late and I was tired. Finally, the man left and the wife made nice and completed my check in. The phone in the room was not turned on. I called the front desk and asked the man to turn on my room phone. He said o.k. He didn't. The management at this motel is the rudest I have ever experienced! Please don't patronize this motel.

They had an electrical outlet without a cover and wires out in our room, 3 options for breakfast, moldy shower head, mildew smelling ac unit, and they claim to be pet friendly but decided our dogs barked to much so they kicked us out at 11pm while my 1 year old son was sleeping. We have been all over and never had an issue with our dogs. I would definitely never recommend this hotel to anyone.

They claim to be pet friendly but they threw us out at 11pm. We have traveled all over the country with our dog's and never had any problems. The people are very rude and didn't even care that or 1 year old grandbaby was asleep. Save your money and book elsewhere this place is also a dump that has sleazy tactics!

This hotel recently changed a name to Econo Lodge & so is a new ownership & management. The rooms are big & clean. They have huge breakfast area & they serve hot breakfast which is pretty rare for a econo lodge. We enjoyed their indoor pool/spa. This is probably a best econo lodge property within miles & miles.

The hotel was on the main road but still maintained a nice quiet atmosphere. The room was clean and everyday the staff came in a maintained the cleanliness.
