Centrally located business hotel with small but adequate rooms and a strong staff. There is no fancy lobby, and its not romantic, but the location is central to transport and downtown, making this a good base for a business trip. I found the staff to be professional and competent. Not gushy friendly or anything, just good at their job. When...

Nothing to write home about. After reading some crazily good reviews on TripAdvisor we went in with high expectations. The hotel didn't quite live up to them, but it was nice nonetheless. Location is ideal for going around Boston. The walls are extremely thin though, so we couldn't get a good night's sleep with people coming/going at all times of...

From the moment we arrived OMG what a first class service Merima offered. She really couldn't do enough for us. The room was fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. The next morning we needed help with getting around and Merima gave us a map and highlighted where we needed to go. I was totally amazed that a hotel would...

I spent probably 400+ nights at CQ from 2006-2009 working on a state project (commuting from Michigan each week) and CQ became my 'home away from home'. The location was very convenient to the two offices I had to work from and I liked the staff and amenities. My wife visited me sometimes for a weekend and loved Boston so...

How happy was I to find Club Quarters located right in the very heart of downtown Boston, affordable and comfortable. This is a fine boutique hotel with nice rooms, friendly staff and a very comfortable "living room" on the main floor behind the reception desk that allows you to enjoy coffee 24/7, soda, snacks, orange, apple or banana - all...

My stay was just before the thanksgiving holiday. I found very reasonable expense for a nice room with an extra space for kitchen. I had not a chance to cook dinner for my short stay, but I could cook any type of meals. It is conveniently located in Boston downtown, so you can go to supermarket, department store in a...

Always well located, clean, reasonably priced and efficiently run with courteous staff. Could probably have a greater selection of Living Room snacks and drinks. Will be my first choice for lodging when in Boston on business.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
