We stayed for three nights to enjoy Boston and we are glad we chose this hotel. The location is just what we wanted, walking distance to many places in Boston and handy to all public transportation. The people at the hotel could not be better, from valet parking service to the cleaning woman who made sure our room was clean...

This hotel is a 3 minute walk from South Station in the financial district, so it's easy to get to anywhere via the T. This is an old hotel so the rooms are very small, but well appointed. They are clean and comfortable. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful.

Booked this hotel as the location seemed ideal for our trip. Within walking distance to the harbour, the markets and the shops. Lovely room, always clean and tidy. Only complaint really is that the room was really warm (the outdoor temperature wasn't very high either), even with the air con on. The air con was also very noisy!

With regards to the cooling, I've dispatched our maintenance team to look at the unit in the room you stayed in, to ensure everything is functioning as intended. Thanks for taking the time...

Visiting Boston for the weekend. Sabine at the front desk was incredibly helpful as it was my first time in the city! It's nice when new to a city to have people to give help and recommendations when I'm unfamiliar with everything!

My husband and I recently stayed at the Club Quarters for a night while in Boston for a wedding. The hotel is in a great location and the staff was fine, but other than that, there is little to recommend it. It is small, the rooms dark, and the amenities are sorely lacking. There was one surprise awaiting us, and...

Dear earthmother, thank you for choosing Club Quarters while staying in Boston. We were disappointed to hear that your experience was not up to your expectations, particularly as it relates to the charging of extra person fees. I would note that when booking a reservation, either over the phone, or online, any extra person fees are built into the rate...

This hotel is very clean, well located in front of the Red Line Metro, Broadway stop. There is no key, no permanent staff. However, there is a 24/24 call number in case of problem. You receive a code for the front door and your room about 48h before arriving and a e-book explaining the working of this hotel. Common parts...

I stayed at this hotel with my daughter while she was in town for business. It was perfect for her as her meetings were across the street from the hotel. It was convenient for shopping downtown, located in the midst of the financial center of Boston, a short walk to Faneuil Hall and an easy ride to airport. The hotel...

This was my first stay at this hotel. Sabine at the front desk was nice and friendly. I was a bit concerned that my room fronted on Devonshire a Street, I wondered if it would be noisy. I did not notice any noise other than an occasional truck going by in the morning, so it was no problem. The room...

I recently stayed at the hotel. Great experience, but even better was the customer service. I called ahead to request an early check in. Niki at the front desk was very helpful and able to accommodate a room at an early time. It really made my stay smooth and easy. Thank you!

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
