This was my second time at this hotel. Everything was exceptional from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The staff sincerely cares for customer's satisfaction, which is what makes the Colonnade stick out from all other hotels. If you are trying to decide between hotels, choose this one! This is a hotel that I will definitely...

The lobby staff are very friendly. My room was very nice and comfortable. The only criticisms I have of the room is that there was a big man's shoe footprint on the bath mat, and there was no tissue box underneath the tissue caddy. The toiletries could have been a little more luxurious, but perfectly sufficient. The lobby is lovely...

This is a nice hotel with larger-than-normal rooms for a Boston hotel. The onsite staff were always very courteous and made me feel very welcome. The location is great for entertainment, shopping and just generally walking around.

Perfect location for easy access to downtown as well as museums. Aesthetically furnished and extremely friendly service. Great restaurant though a bit pricey for the quality. Near Prudential Center and right next to green line subway.

Location perfect Wien attending conference at Hynes. Clean rooms, friendly personal. Though quite pool breakfast buffet compared to European hotels. Mæissing cheese and a bigger assortment of bread, nutella, marmalade, and yoghurt.

Our location is perfect for business travelers attending conferences at the Hynes Convention Center, as it is connected to the Prudential Center- located directly across the street from our hotel. Brasserie Jo, our French Style restaurant, has both a breakfast buffet and an a la carte menu providing additional breakfast options for our guests. We do have numerous types of...

Stayed here for 2 nights in November. A workhorse of a hotel - nice large rooms with large bed. Bathroom was pretty nice too. Mini Bar was empty which was strange? Forgot to ask why. I stayed in the hotel for a conference and have no complaints about the room or how the hotel staff greeted us, the food service however is a different story. The room was in exceptional shape and the staff at the front door were very responsive to our needs. The breakfast was a terrible purchase, the food was cold, the...

Let me start with the positive. The hotel is very well located across from the Prudential shopping center and subway stop. The check in staff and doormen were welcoming and helpful. We were even given an upgraded room on the top floor with a king sized bed and pleasant views. Not expected, but appreciated the lovely gesture. I so wanted...

Even when I don't find a special deal, I just keep coming back to this hotel. The front desk people and bellmen are so welcoming; if you arrive well ahead of check-in time they try hard to accommodate you. But it's that moment when I walk into the room that I love most. Everything is crisp and clean and the...

We stayed here from Nov 6th to 10th 2016. Fantastic hotel - so glad we found it. The location we found was great by the train station, across Prudential Centre. Pretty much walking distance to anywhere in the city. We had the premium king room on the 7th floor with a view of the city and it was lovely. The...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
