The people at the service desk was very friendly and courteous, looks like the place was recently remodeled and I 'I'm glad that they keep the "retro" look, very well done, conveniently close to Copley Square at a very reasonable price, I wish the heated pool was open year round :(, but overall this is the place I stay every...

Stayed for 6 nights as a solo traveller in September 2016. The best thing is its location as most of the major attractions are within walking distance. The hotel looked old and outdated upon arrival but room was a good size and comfortable. Front desk were also very helpful. The only only issue I had was with room service. Every...

The Midtown is very dated and lacks many modern amenities; breakfast, fridge and microwave. Its location and price make up for the lack of conveniences. It is a 15" walk to Fenway Park and 2" to the "T" (subway). I would stay here again.

Rooms were very neat and tidy. However, wash clothes aren't provided as standard towel set. I had to call on several occasions. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The onsite parking is a plus!

Older hotel with older rooms. No restaurant, breakfast, or food service. Wi Fi was good. Location is great. Overall value when compared to other hotels close by is very good. Stayed four nights with no issues.

I had a quick weekend tip to visit with my son. The people at this hotel are exceptional! The room was comfortable and clean. I will return. For me, the location was also excellent, close to where I wanted go yet not in the heart of the city. I enjoyed watching the college students go about their business, very upbeat...

The internet did not work in the room I had to go to the lobby both evenings that we stayed there to get anything done and do our boarding passes. The hotel engineer even came to our room on our second day and admitted he could not connect with the server and it still did not work that evening. They...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
