I love this place for its locale, the staff and especially the parking!! I park my car in front of the back lobby door which is well lit! Feel safe! This is not a fancy hotel BUT it's clean and friendly! This is my third time there and will be back very soon!

Our stay was everything I expected. The staff addressed our issue (no USB cord in room) immediately! Great attraction and shopping near by. There was a smell noticed in the room but we could come again.

Asked 3 times for heat in the room. Was assured the problem would be rectified.... to no avail. Seems Steven (desk staff) just wanted to go home. Three hours later, the late shift had no idea there was a problem. At least the room I was finally moved to had working heat. It's just that the entire situation took way...

The Midtown Hotel was conveniently located for our trip destinations. The staff was very efficient and friendly. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and even though it's on a main thoroughfare it was quiet. Parking was included because we attended a concert nearby. The T was close by so we could travel to other areas on Boston. We would...

Nice hotel and perfectly downtown for me. Big rooms with own bathroom, clean and (although pretty much downtown) relatively quiet. Good room service, although new towels are not necessary everyday. Wifi good and stable.

My interaction with the check-in and check-out desk was subpar; the toilet water ran all night and woke me up several times. The place is old and average - not worth the $260 they charged me for Saturday night. The location is convenient to downtown Boston.

The woman who checked me in on Thursday morning at around 7 AM was lovely. I had come in on a redeye and was exhausted and she helped me out. Her service was exemplary. I hope that you give her the credit that she is due, because she made the day a really good one for me.

As usual--excellent in all respects and especially cooperative, friendly, and accommodating. Central to almost everything one would wish to do, with really nice views to the avenue. Sorry it does not have a restaurant.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
