My wife and our son have been staying here once or twice a year for the last ten years. I am constantly amazed by the reception we receive upon our return every time. They have had numerous staff members working there for at least that long, and that, to me , says volumes about what kind of hotel they run....

Th XV Beacon is one of if not my favourite hotel in the world, not because it is flash or offers anything fancy but it offers a home from home feel! The staff are curtious and always wiiling to help. Nothing is ever a problem. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable, offering all the services and even a real...

We live in the area but wanted our kids to be able to experience the Boston fireworks without the crowds. XV Beacon has a roof deck that worked very well. It was a little crowded but it was beautiful to see the fireworks exploding right next to the State House.

Pulling up to the XV Beacon is better than coming home! My favorite hotel in the US. Staff is amazing- accomodating- friendly and totally ahead of anything I ever need! Spacious and beautiful rooms with every creature comfort you desire. Roomy and pretty bathrooms. Incredible food and room service. The concierge took wonderful care of us from getting us ball game tickets to making us dinner reservations. The hotel is in an excellent and central location but quiet. I can't wait to go back.

It is getting harder and harder to leave this property after each stay. From the moment you pull up and are greeted by the valet to the moment you go to sleep in your luxurious room you can't help but feel like you are at a larger property (four seasons or ritz) but you are at a boutique hotel that...

We stayed at XV Beacon earlier this summer and were incredibly impressed with the amenities and the wonderful staff. Situated in at the top of Beacon Hill, it was the perfect place for us to launch excursions around Boston that weekend!

This hotel is my go-to place when I need to recharge, renew and revive my spirit. It's where I am best able to gather my thoughts, collect myself, both wind down and gear up for work outside or when I'm working in my room on my laptop. Staff are incredibly helpful yet inconspicuous. To me, XV Beacon is sacred space.

I've been staying at XV Beacon since 2004. For me, this hotel is the epitome of what a Boston hotel should be. There is no better location in Boston, than XV's Beacon Hill address. It's walking distance to Boston Common, Charles Street, the North End and Newbury Street. And, an added bonus at XV is complementary luxury sedan transfers within...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
