I originally booked this hotel because I like staying in hip hotels (stayed in Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in LA last summer and LOVED it). There was absolutely nothing "wrong" with hotel. Definitely met my standards of decor, etc. However, I got a negative vibe that I can only explain as "wannabe". The Roosevelt oozed hip AND class. The Revere opens...

While I'm pleased you liked our spacious, well-appointed guest room and convenient location, I'm deeply disappointed to learn that your time at our rooftop lounge didn't impress you. Your feedback is appreciated, and it's our hope that you will allow us the opportunity to welcome you back for a stay that surpasses your expectations. Warm regards, Tim Brett General Manager

Overall a great experience. Could have used more front desk staff for check in and check out. Maid service came 8:30am both days which is way too early. Nice toiletries in the bathroom would have been even nicer if the dispensers had been full.

Large room with balcony. Stayed on the 23rd floor - west end. We had the best view of the main fireworks on the esplanade and over 15 fireworks shows across the area. It was amazing. Room was nicely and newly decorated. TV was a flat-screen, but lousy channels/hotel system. Bathroom nice. We didn't get the newspapers as promised on the...

We stayed at the Revere during a recent quick trip to Boston. What a great experience. Every one of the staff members was accommodating and very pleasant. The concierge arranged several outings for us and the front desk staff recommended a couple of restaurants. Our rooms were clean and comfortable and the rate was reasonable for a big city hotel....

I stayed here for three nights on a business trip. It was amazing .... Let's start with the lobby. As soon as you enter you are greeting with this refreshing aroma as if you had left the grime of the city behind and entered a spa. This was throughout the hotel or maybe it was just still in my head...

Thought the Revere was excellent. It was clean, modern and with the atmosphere and decor of a boutique hotel. Beds were extremely comfortable. We stayed up on the 21st floor which is advisable for the view as well as minimal street noise. Any noise from the street was muted when sliding door was closed. Didn't have any concerns with the...

My wife and I stayed here when we were in Boston for a Red Sox game. The primary reason we chose this hotel was because we were very interested in the bar on the rooftop. It turned out to be great. We were able to relax and have a few drinks on the rooftop bar which had a great atmosphere...

Nice, comfortable rooms with all necessary amenities. Everything went to plan, very friendly staff. No minibar in room, though, which was disappointing. Good location just two blocks from the Boston Common park.

We have stayed here before and it was still a great experience. The only issue I believe they need to work on is their breakfast buffet. For the price we paid $22pp, it was comparable to a nearby hotel's free breakfast. The buffet consisted of: oatmeal with a few toppings, scrambled eggs with parsley, bacon, sausage, potatoes, French toast, cereal...

Convinient Location and Comfortable Room! Over my expectation. Very Good! Amazing! It is close to Boston Common. and there is 7-11 store and Starbucks within 30 meters outside the Gate of Hotel. Hotel is close to China Town so I have walked 7 mins to get to a fantastic Chinese Restaurant!

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
