Stayed here for a meeting (on-site). The ongoing construction was problematic - as I was using a mobility scooter and the construction required I use multiple elevators and odd paths through the building. Also, the first room I got had no heat and a non-working phone - so had to move. But, in each case, the staff were incredibly helpful...

So apparently they are undergoing renovation. Elevators don't work, "lobby" if you can call it that is an absolute joke. Terrible experience, wouldn't even dream of repeating it till end of 2017 when the renovation is complete.

So much noisy. The front desk moved to 7th floor. Had to go through the back door to up to 7th floor to change another elevator. I had an early flight to catch. At 4:00am, I went down to the grand floor, no taxi, no waiting area. It's freezing cold. Checkin and check out was pretty good. Last day before...

We stayed here one night for a business layover and found it pleasant. The hotel is conveniently located and adjacent to a parking garage ($40 / day) which enabled us to walk to several locations. The rooms were clean but nothing to write home about. Although the styling is meant to look contemporary it appeared more like a leftover 70s...

Met my Brother and Sister in law for a 4 Day Trip to Boston. My Wife had never been there and it was an easy 25 years since I was there. The Revere is an independently owned property with its own Modern Style. Reminds me of the James Hotel in Chicago. Our room was a Superior King facing toward The...

My sister in law and I stayed one night as we headed back from Provincetown to Raleigh. We wanted a hotel in a central location so that we could do some quick sight seeing for our short stay. Beds, linens & pillows were super comfortable! I always love a hotel that offers a comfy robe to wear! We did order...

A stylish room with a view - a very nice view of pretty much all of Boston. The reception staff went above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable. So many stories up and the balcony gave us vertigo toe tingles. It was unforgettable and I'll recommend it to my (Australian) friends.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
