Like some other reviewer wrote, looks can be and are deceiving . The hotel has two entrances with revolving doors , very heavy!!! Must recognize that the door staff were helpful with my daughter and myself. But things began to deviate from what the hotel said will give me upon arrival. let me say that I enrolled in there frecuent...

Our second visit at the Omni Parker House, this time with out of town friends and it was perfect!! The hotel is one of those timeless hotels that you never tire of. From the street you will see the smartly dressed doormen, but once you walk inside it does not disappoint! The lobby is magnificent. The woodwork is beautiful and...

The Omni Parker House is a wonderful place to stay if you are planning on touring the sites of Boston. It is a very easy walk to the Aquarium, Quincy Market, The Boston Common, and of course the theater district. The Freedom Trail is right outside the doors. So easy to get to great restaurants and coffee shops. The lobby...

The Omni Parker House is vintage -in the best way. If you appreciate historic architecture blended with great location and modern comfort, you'll love this hotel. The lobby is divine and service top-notch. Mine was a business trip, so just a single room. Had a pleasant view and enjoyed the convenience to restaurants, the T stop, and shopping. I passed...

We always stay at the Omni Parker House when in Boston. We have never had a bad experience. The standard rooms can be small but clean, elegantly decorated and comfortable. The location is excellent. You can walk to the Common, Fanueil Hall, the waterfront and the North End. We have gotten some great deals on suites in the winter when...

Clean, quiet facility. Room was big enough for 1-2 people and very comfortable bed. I did not experience the restaurant, but the coffee shop was clean and quick. Easy access to the Blue Line which was nice to not have to use a taxi.

When you see this hotel from the outside and first walk into the lobby, it is VERY impressive, very opulent and plush. We arrived on a Friday, ahead of the Memorial weekend at lunch time. There was a gentleman stationed by the side doors to the entrance who was kind enough to tell my husband that he should use the...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
