I knew we would find a smaller room than other hotels given the historic nature of the Omni Parker House. Really a beautiful lobby and an amazing location, so close to sites on the Freedom Trail and close to the T.

The Omni Parker is a once elegant property showing its age in a great location. Our room on the 14th floor was small but adequate. The bathroom was very small, the toilet was at least six inches too close to the wall and towel rack, and you couldn't fit two people in the bathroom unless one was in the bath....

Very pleased with our stay at the Omni Parker House. Conveniently located near the Boston Common and Government Center. Hotel is older and historic while nicely updated. Friendly staff and very comfy beds. We were there for a birthday celebration and appreciated the complementary champagne and chocolate strawberries that came with the room service Boston Cream Pie we ordered!! Would...

Great hotel. Very old with old Boston charm. Supposedly most haunted hotel in Boston although we did not have any such experiences (too bad). Deluxe room with 2 full sized beds was tight. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom tiny with no real shelf space for makeup etc. Toiletries provided were nice. Outlets few and awkwardly placed...bring an multi-outlet...

My husband and I stayed at the Omni Parker house during the last weekend in August for a quick weekend getaway. The location is great, the hotel is beautiful and charming, the staff were mostly friendly but a sequence of bad service events were spoilers of the overall experience. We ordered room service only twice and both times the order...

Friendly staff who go out of their way for you. This is an old hotel, so don't expect a modern room. There are many different size rooms; so pay attention when making your reservation. If you need a quiet room ask - they will accommodate you. Great location. If you like Scotch or bourbon you must check out The Last...

We recently stayed at the Omni for one night and it was a great location. Room was a little small but it was just me and my husband so we were fine. Room was very clean and it was a quiet hotel. Front Desk Staff was very friendly and she was able to get us in our room a little...

What a wonderful experience! This stately hotel is beautiful and a very convenient location for tourist. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The room was nicely decorated, the bedding was very comfortable and the towels were fluffy. The elevators were even fast, which is rare in a hotel of any age. A special thanks to the Loyalty Ambassador for...

We were 6 people traveling, grandparents, parents and 2 children for 4 nights. The Omni was the perfect hotel for our stay. The location is so perfect, you can walk to everything. The staff was outstanding! They were very accommodating and especially kind to the children. And the food! We had the breakfast buffet every morning and one dinner at...

This happened when my family stayed in #341 on the night 08/28/2015. Between 3:30-4:00am (08/29/2015) when we were in deep sleep, a man tired to break in with key. He actually unlocked our door with key! Thanks for the inside door latch we secured before we went to bed, he was not able to get in. When I woke up...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
