Very nice hotel. Location was an advantage. Staff friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room clean and amenities were surprisingly enjoyable for a city hotel. Consistent Wifi was a plus. Valet price of $44.00 a night is too high.

The average price for valet parking at downtown Boston hotels is $48 per night and we always maintain a price that's less than the average.

The location of the OMNI was great. Parking expensive at $44.00/day, no options. The valet service and bellhop service was very good. Be sure to have tip $$ on hand. Although we had a king sized bed, our room was quite small. Also the bathroom was quite small, not much room for toiletries. It served us well though as we...

Right across the street from the Old State House. Walking distance to Boston Common and T stations. Easy to take Blue Line to and from airport. I recommend tours by Boston on Foot for Historical and Architectural information. Tours: Beacon Hill, North End, Grave Undertakings, Freedom Trail, Boston Public Library, Harvard tour. I also enjoyed the JFK Presidential Library and...

A solid hotel experience. Hotel has an old world flavor to it. In ways dated, but also kept very clean and charming. Like other hotels in the area, rather expensive, but very good quality of the beds and bedding, combined with the "solid" walls made for a very quiet and restful sleep.

I had a wonderful 3-night stay at the beautiful Omni Parker House. Like all Omni properties, the staff here was very welcoming and friendly and provided outstanding customer service. The location is perfect for exploring downtown Boston - minutes from Faneuil Hall, the North End, Waterfront, Boston Common, and Chinatown. It's within a 2-minute walk to the State Street and...

When my husband and I booked this hotel for our honeymoon we had no idea the history of the building. The hotel itself is like stepping back in time, with dark wood paneling throughout the lobby, restaurant and bars. There are staff everywhere waiting to help with a smile and advice on the area. JFK proposed to Jackie here, Charles...

Loved out stay at the Omni Parker Hotel. It was right along the Freedom Triail and our dsughters loved following the red brick line to find our way back to our hotel. the Loyalty Ambassador was also a very nice touch in reaching out to us prior to our arrival and securing a quiet room for my family. Would definitely...

Prior to checking in we were in touch with a member of the hotel staff, Kate Casey. She made guided us in room selection and we could not have been happier. Everyone of the members of the hotel staff that we encountered treated us like cherished family members. It truly is a wonderful hotel to stay in and a great...

Recently stayed at the Omni-Parker House Hotel. The service was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located along the Freedom Trail close to Boston Commons and to many restaurants and other amenities. My only negative comment was the small size of the room.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
