My friend and I recently stayed at the Four Seasons, Boston. The service was the best I have experienced. The front desk was courteous and helpful and the concierge (particularly Walter) had wonderful tips to make our stay even more enjoyable!

We had six rooms for a family event. Worked with AMEX Fine Hotel program and reservationists were very helpful with our families needs, i.e. crib. When one room was not ready, offered drinks and appetizers. Toys for the children at check-in. The pool was great. Needed an extra cot and none was available so housekeeping offered a tent and our...

First class all the way. Great service and overall experience. Highly recommend, the location is close to great shopping on Newbury street, not far from Fenway Park or the north end. Very nice gym. Could not have enjoyed the stay more

I've been a FS fan since Their first U.S. Hotel in Houston in in 1981 and aside from my disappointment with Maui I have never tanked the brand. But Boston has to be redone or rebranded. It was opened in 1985 & shows every year. It is not just the furnishings but linens were shabby & the bed lumpy. We...

Hotel is located in central Boston, and getting there from the airport and the day to day drag, seems like a dream comes true - all amenities are outstanding, products are 1st class, food is very very good, service is outstanding , the only drawback is the price.

Pricy, but well worth it. Fine dining in the restaurant, walking distance from Newberry street which is loaded with fine shops and restaurants. Right accross the street from the park and pretty much central to everything. Boston is a walking city, the Four Seasons the best place to stay.

This is a totally fabulous hotel. I don't think any of the hotel chains can match them on quality & customer service. beautiful, large room & ensuite, very stylish & comfortable. 2 large beds & room for a roll out bed too, sofa & chairs. Coffee available from the foyer in the morning & a pleasant spa with pool with...

But..... a little tired. Especially the menu in the restaurants and room service. We recently stayed for five nights so we experienced quite a few meals. The service was not of the level of most Four Seasons. I had one lunch where it was particularly bad. Several meals where it was OK, but none where it was really Four Seasons...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
