I had a lovely stay this past weekend at the Four Seasons Boston. The new room and hallway renovations are spectacular. A great dinner in Bristol Saturday night with my Boston based daughter and a lifelong friend and her husband! The cake made the dinner...layers of lemon flavored cake with raspberries and four candles!!!

Great service, food and the hotel is beautiful. Lots of small touches that make it nice. Private bathrooms near the conference rooms. The location is also perfect. There were many places to shop and eat in the area.

We loved our stay there. We always felt that the staff was ready to help us with anything at a moment's notice. It was central to everything as well. We will definitely return to both the hotel and the location

The hotel was not bad but its a little gray and colorless the hallways and the rooms. The hotel had a new carpet smell not an bad smell but not an inviting smell. The hotel staff was great. The hotel food was okay.

Dear Quevedo_PhD Thank you very much for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We've nearly completed our extensive rooms renovation here at Four Seasons Hotel Boston. Given you joined us during the process, some furnishings and artwork were yet to be installed in the space, and the carpet is, as you noted, brand new. We very much...

This Four Seasons is managed very well, as other's we have stayed at. I always feel like home there, and will keep coming back. Also a great location in the city. You will not be lacking anything in the luxury department.

The hotel was under renovation and unfortunately nobody shared that information when the reservation was made. They started working at 8:00 AM every morning. It was loud! Woke us up. Also, the bellmen couldn't figure out how to get a taxi because the there was supposedly a convention nearby. You would think the Four Seasons would have some pull. Also,...

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Four Seasons. Everyone is friendly, you are babied and coddled from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. I know a lot of people like that and I was curious as usually I don't go for top tier luxury in a chain... but for me, its just too much. Again, this...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
