Very nice hotel that appeared to be recently renovated. Everything in the room was upgraded, from bathrooms to bedroom area. The location is only a couple of blocks below Boston Commons. The price of this hotel can not be beat in Boston.

The staff were super friendly, and the location was absolutely perfect. Room was great - exactly what we needed. Only downside was the bathroom - barely room to turn around in it, and the door is one of those ones with the slats... meaning if you're staying with a roommate, you better be prepared to get to know each other...

This is a really superb hotel in Boston's South End, only a couple of minutes from Back Bay - think charming tree-lined streets, brick pavements, stunning brick row houses. Staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming, noticeably so compared to most other hotels. As I was staying a few days, I was booked into one of the corner rooms with superb...

Great location and good hotel. My only complaint is the the bathroom. It was far too small with zero shelf space yet a huge shower. Hardly a clever use of space. Other than that it was a splendid little hotel.

Location is good (10 min walk by foot to city center), also safe at night. at least 2-3 bars/restaurants within 7-8 min walk. Prices are correct too and the room decoration was really good. People at front desk were helpful and kind. We discovered it thanks to tripadvisor and we weren´t disappointed: we would stay there again.

Boston is very pricey for hotels overall - this is a very cozy hotel, beside/over Fitzs(has a great weekend brunch!). I would definitely return as it's centrally located. I was able to walk a couple of blocks to the subway, a couple of blocks to the park, a couple of blocks to a few malls. I stayed with a friend...

Lovely updated hotel in beautiful Boston Back Bay area. Minutes walk to Back Bay T station. Surrounded by dozens of fabulous restaurants. Rooms are small but nicely updated. Beds where very comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. Definitely would recommend this hotel to friends.

It's a reasonably priced boutique hotel in a quiet residential neighborhood. If you don't want to spend the bucks necessary for a chain hotel in pricy Boston, this is a nice alternative. It's within 2 easy blocks of the Back Bay T station on the orange line, so all of Boston is easily accessible. The 2 twin beds were comfortable,...

Disappointing hotel. Rooms are tiny, and bath room is even smaller. Only had enough floor space to open one suitcase, had to clear off a night table to open a second suitcase. Parking (self parking only) is a few city blocks away in a public garage. We were notified during our stay (and was well posted throughout the building and...

Staying in South End

Neighbourhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
