My three daughters and I stayed for my birthday weekend in a deluxe queen room. Let me say right off that we were offered bottled water as soon as we walked in and it was also provided in our room. Another review had said they dont provide this but they do. We had plenty of room for four and were...

My wife and I are from Boston and booked two nights here for a weekend getaway. The property is lovely, and we were immediately made to feel like we were valued guests. The whole feel of the lobby, elevators, and hallways is that of elegance. The room we had was spacious, clean, and well laid-out. The soaking tub was absolutely...

We stayed here on a spur-of-the-moment decision, to enjoy a weekend in Boston. The front desk staff were extremely friendly, and check-in was fast. Shortly after we arrived, we were surprised by a knock on the door - the concierge heard we were enjoying a romantic weekend and sent us some champagne. I don't know whether that's typical of them,...

The staff was extremely kind to us from the instant we walked in to the lobby. I work at a near by restaurant, and the front desk and concierge sent us a nice card with sparkling wine and chocolate dipped strawberries thinking us for staying with them and stating how much they liked the restaurant that I work at. It...

Thanks to the great housekeeping staff and the concierge of this hotel our son was reunited with a loved stuffed animal that was lost during our stay. Like many kids, our son seem to doesn't travel light and he brought a small family of stuffies for our weekend in Boston. As having your bed made by the hotel is one...

Stay on the Club Floor for the weekend. The room was fantastic as well as the service. The Club Lounge was wonderful and the staff, Charles and Muhammad, were very friendly and extremely helpful. I would recommend this location to all my friends and colleagues.

The amenities and hotel itself are beautiful, and it is in a location central to many incredible things Boston has to offer. Walking distance to downtown, fort point area, and the seaport area. Also walking distance to south station train stop.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
